Love this line from the piece (the money quote):

Unlike President Ronald Reagan, who saw morning in America - that great shining city on a hill - Michelle will tell all who will listen that Republicans want to poison the air and water, stifle free speech, oppress the religious. She will offer not an uplifting vision of what her husband’s America could be but only a vapid view of what Republicans’ America would be.

That is the America she lives in, and by campaign’s end, it will be clear that she’s no longer “proud of my country.” Maybe she never really was.

“Michelle will tell all who will listen that Republicans want to poison the air and water, stifle free speech, oppress the religious...”

With the support of the Progressive press, that line will be repeated endlessly and the hardcore fourty per-cent will eat it up. Then, the brilliant, really-really smart, absolutely intelligent (they keep telling us),
all-wise Independents will keep their leftward tilt and very well might march to Progressive victory with all those psychotic Progressives.

IMHO

Care to document that she was admitted based on her brother?

Unless you mean “her brother did OK for a black student - so we figured she might not embarress us too much either”.

Hint - Don’t start with unsupported assumed “legacy” powers.

On exactly what is your statement based?

I’ve heard from folks “inside the culture” that they noticed a vast difference in the topics of conversation between them and the mainstream, traditional culture.

Those inside the culture tend to focus their topic of conversation on what “the other folks” are doing, almost exclusively,
whereas those of the traditional culture tend to have vastly varied topics of discussion.

She’s always eating with her fingers. Does she not know how to use a fork?

Isn't it customary in the muslim culture to eat with bare hands? I notice that in all the pictures posted she seems to be eating with her right hand, which is proper.

There were 26 years and a few months between Michelle Obama’s 18th birthday and when her hubby was nominated.

Think of all the things which happened during that 26 years that any American could be proud of.

Think of all the things which happened during that 26 years that any liberal could be proud of.

And she wasn’t proud of any of them. Just to grab one example out of the air, this is a woman who can’t remember being proud of America saving tens of thousands of lives after the Boxing Day Tsunami in ‘04. She’s a nut.

One thiing I will say about this president, he seems to go out of his way to be kind to children he meets. I’ve heard other ropeline stories like yours and seen video of him interacting with kids in what seems to be a genuine and kind way. It may be an act, but at least he bothers, while his wife just acts like an entitled princess everywhere she goes.

The whole Muslims in the White House thing is getting pretty silly. Unless Moochelle is left-handed, seeing her eat with her right hand is about as remarkable asnoticing that the sky is blue.

“Make no mistake about it, whether it’s health care or the economy, whether it’s education or foreign policy, the choice we make in this election will determine nothing less than who we are as a country — but more importantly, who we want to be,” she told about 200 guests at the Davis Islands waterfront home of developer *Joel Cantor.

“Who do we want to be? Will we be a country that tells folks who have done everything right but are struggling to get by, ‘tough luck, you’re on your own’? Is that who we are?”

No, the audience, many fanning themselves in the 82-degree heat, responded enthusiastically.

“I’m not going to kid you,” she told the guests, who paid as much as $35,800 for the appearance. “This journey is going to be long and it will be hard.”

*Joel Cantor

Mr. Cantor attended the University of Massachusetts majoring in finance and Mandarin Chinese for his undergraduate degree. Mr. Cantor also attended the University of Copenhagen as an American Scholar for a year abroad studying East/West trade relations.

After earning his undergraduate degree Mr. Cantor obtained a position on Wall Street at Chase Manhattan Bank by handing out 10,000 resumes on the street one day instead of simply mailing resumes. He was hired to handle overnight loans between money center banks and was promoted within five months to oversee a staff of thirty mostly middle-aged employees while he was just 21 years old. Mr. Cantor was then hired by the venerable Wall Street firm Salomon Brothers in their real estate finance investment banking group. He studied under the tutelage of Lewis Ranieri who is credited as the inventor of the collateralized mortgage bond. Mr. Cantor travelled across the U.S. buying packages of loans and structuring them into traunches of mortgage backed securities. Salomon Brothers hired a private tutor to teach Mr. Cantor the Japanese language as he was slated to be sent to their burgeoning Asian offices. However, Mr. Cantor chose to go back to school and get his MBA at Wharton with intentions to go back to Salomon Brothers and be included in their executive ranks. At Wharton, Mr. Cantor was recruited by the legendary Trammell Crow Company to come to Tampa and build the $85M Florida Aquarium. In 1989 within six months of arriving in Tampa, Mr. Cantor raised his first fund with $2M from his Wall Street contacts and purchased a dozen apartment complexes from the Resolution Trust Company (RTC) which was overseeing the disposition of real estate assets from failed banks.

Mr. Cantor resides in Tampa with his wife and their four boys. Mr. Cantor is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys training for Ironman distance triathlons, mountain climbing, skiing, and adventure travel. He and his wife have travelled to more than 95 countries embarking on rugged trips. They have driven 7,500 miles through one end of Africa to the other, journeyed the length of the Amazon River, and spent countless weeks trekking the high passes of the Indian and Nepali Himalaya.

Mr. Cantor is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Leadership Florida, Urban Land Institute, and several charitable causes.

Cantor, a tennis player, met a banker at a tournament who later called him about some foreclosures in Tampa that also needed repair. Cantor “begged and borrowed” to get the $600,000 down he needed and started fixing up the properties.

When one of his early multifamily rental projects was fully occupied, his cash flow was about $75,000 a month.

Gulf Atlantic today is a $21 million company with 28 employees.
