Herman Cain: Karl Rove is trying to destroy me
Politico ^ | 24 Oct 2011 | y MAGGIE HABERMAN

Herman Cain pushed back hard at Karl Rove's recitation of his recent campaign fumbles and miscues - which he presented on a whiteboard on Fox News this morning - and accused the operative of trying to do him intentional damage in a Byron York interview:

"It's a good thing the voters are not looking at Karl Rove's little whiteboard," Cain said in a phone conversation from a stop in Chicago Monday afternoon. "I believe it is a deliberate attempt to damage me because I am not, quote unquote, the establishment choice. But why not go with the choice that the people seem to like?"

Cain accused Rove of bias in favor of candidates with big organizations, lots of money, and prior experience in political office — all things Cain doesn't have. "What has Karl Rove done?" Cain continued. "If I become the nominee, he has given Democrats talking points for a commercial to attack me. It makes no sense unless it's a deliberate attempt on his part to try to push me down so that the candidate he wants rises to the top." Continue Reading

When asked which candidate he believes Rove supports, Cain said, "I believe he wants Romney to get it."

Rove strongly denies Cain's charges. "Herman Cain is the one giving the Democrats material for attack ads," Rove said in a phone conversation Monday afternoon. "I want the strongest nominee to emerge from the process. I have no personal favorite. Fox expects me to call balls and strikes as I see them."

Rove THINKS he is the voice of the Republican party but many conservatives are tired of his arrogance and know it all attitude. He tried to destroy Palin too...he is anti Tea Party and anti anyone that bucks the inner circle of the GOP establishment

No doubt. I don’t recall Rove holding up a poster board about Romulus’s gaffles.

By 2006, Karl Rove and the Bush family had destroyed the Reagan legacy in all but the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In California in particular, Rove and Bush played a key role in reorganizing the CAGOP in such a way that it has NEVER supported a conservative candidate since.

I despise the man.

Rove is sneaky and he never knows when to stop. I’ve really come not to like him. Then again, what kind of guys do you think elbow their way in with the elites?

Good for Cain for straight shooting on this one.

Everyone in a regular capacity with Fox News is in the tank for Romney. The exceptions are (I hope) Sarah Palin and perhaps Doocey Kilmeade.

BTW, ED Hill was far, far better than Wretched Carlson.

This is the SAME TEAM Romney that attacked Gov. Palin and her children.

THEY ARE THE SHAME OF THE GOP.

"Go Mitt. Go Mitt. Go Mitt"

"Rove is pushing Romney so aggressively
some folks are beginning to wonder what's going on,"
grumbled one veteran Republican strategist."

"Rove has made no secret
of his support for Romney as McCain's VP. "

We have the lame stream media, and Rove represents the lame stream main stream of the old GOP establishment.
Of course he wants to discredit Cain. I don’t think it really matters they are on thier last legs.
I suspect of the media gets Romney as the canidate the Tea Party and conservatives will move to form a third party before the 2016 election.
Remember the GOP only fielded one canidate in 1856 with John C. Fremont before they won in 1860 with Abraham Lincoln. Dinosaur parties can die quickly to be replaced by a peoples party...

Karl Rove is every bit as bad as the Left always said he was.

Rove has become nothing other than an arrogant snotnose.

He can keep his “second coming of Michael Dukakis” candidate.

Karl would rather a dem or independent win than a tea partyer. He and his buddies in the establishment cost the GOP 2 senate seats in the last election (Alaska & Connecticut) by sabotaging & ensuring that the GOP didn’t support conservative candidates.
