“could”?
Anything at all, can be stated this way in a headline.
Literally anything.
“Alien spacecraft could land at the Whitehouse next week”.
“China could begin allowing American imports”.
“Obama could resign tomorrow”.
(the last one is my favorite)

Where’s the “barf” alert?
A complete and total crock. Not climate change, that’s been occurring for millions of years. Normal.
Going back to living in caves under a one world government won’t change a damned thing, climate wise. Great for those who want to rule the world. Sucks out loud for everyone else.
What a putz.

You're right. They're reporting speculation for one thing, and it is speculation based on iffy (at best) computer models based on tainted/cherry-picked data. (again, that is probably too kind)
This isn't reporting, it is propaganda and manipulation.

A little warming during the coming ice age is a good thing.

It is widely agreed among scientists that global pledges so far for curbing greenhouse gas emissions are not strong enough to prevent "dangerous" climate change.Based on junk science, questionable data, and bad assumptions, it is widely agreed among selected "scientists" that global pledges so far for curbing greenhouse gas emissions are not strong enough to prevent "dangerous" climate change.

Really?
And what is a “safe” level?
These clowns are getting desperate, lest more facts surface to get in the way of their anti-industry, population control agenda.

Nature is global warming HQ.
But even Nature just ran an article suggesting that the British Isles are about to go into a little ice age.
Well, which is it? I think I’ll stick with the observation of woolly bear caterpillers. They seem to be predicting another cold winter, I’m afraid.

global pledges so far for curbing greenhouse gas emissions are not strong enoughHaven't they noticed that the biggest "emitter," Red China, hasn't made any pledges?

You know its a crock when they use the wordswidely agreed among scientists. Were are the scientist police when you need them?
These fake scientists with their fake research are costing us billions and billions of dollars in unnecessary expenditures because of the hysteria that they are promoting. If it could be shown that their research is purposely biased (it has) in order to secure more grant money for "further studies", they should be arrested.
