I am sure the Hyatt would have no problem hosting and Occupy Wall Street Event and their anti-Semitic messages and statements that have become public knowledge.

Kissing up to muslims seems to be coming our national past time, especially by the political class. The prez, the governor of Texas, Bush while prez, etc.

. . . because it didn't approve of the group's keynote speaker.

My BS meter just went off. I'm relatively certain that one of the local jihadis just dropped by to compliment them on the lovely decor of their hotel.

I'm sure they didn't use anything like the phrase "too bad if anything were to happen to it."

I really wish that people would stop referring to Islam as a religion.

It is a sociopolitical philosophy. Exactly the same as Marxism. The Koran is on par with the Communist Manifesto or Mein Kampf.

Nothing more.

Too bad they didn’t book an anti-Mormon activist.

Houston has a HUGE middle eastern population. I’m sure they got a little heat from CAIR and that was it.

Islam stands for oppression and tyranny, but don’t dare say it in a world that limits free speech by eliminating truth. We live in a world that cheered on Arab Spring in complete ignorance of what Democracy means in the world of Islam. The West better get back some good sense about Islam before it is too late.

Sue them for what? Not letting her do whatever she wants on their property?

You don’t have this whole ‘rights’ thing figured out yet.

Pamela is a gorgeous woman, inside and outside. Did you see their choice of pictures for her? Why not use this one?

Wonder what the Hyatt would have done if they found out the speaker was ‘Calypso Louie Phartinacan’ and his peace loving muzzies????

after learning that anti-Islam activist was due to be a speaker

Translation: they canceled the speaker after getting at least one call from an islamofascist threatening violence.

She is definitely a “Conservative”... she is pleasant on the eyes.

I am [still] looking for an attractive liberal... key word STILL.

Yes. Basically it boils down to: “We can’t host a speaker who says Muslims are violent and dangerous, because the Muslims actually are violent and dangerous and might kill us.”

Interference with her first amendment rights.

Local restaurants here cannot refuse CAIR and unidicted co conspirators in 911 members of the Muslim Brotherhood from speaking at banquets, so the reverse must be consistent.
