IOWA CITY, Iowa Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain has cast himself as the outsider, the pizza magnate with real-world experience who will bring fresh ideas to the nations capital. But Cains economic ideas, support and organization have close ties to two billionaire brothers who bankroll right-leaning causes through their group Americans for Prosperity.
Cains campaign manager and a number of aides have worked for Americans for Prosperity, or AFP, the advocacy group founded with support from billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch, which lobbies for lower taxes and less government regulation and spending. Cain credits a businessman who served on an AFP advisory board with helping devise his 9-9-9 plan to rewrite the nations tax code. And his years of speaking at AFP events have given the businessman and radio host a network of loyal grassroots fans.

Sounds like another positive to me.
It's become one of the left wing parrots' favorite phrases.
Awk! Haliburton!
Awwwwk! Bush lied!
Awwwwk! Koch Brothers...Koch Brothers...Awwwwk!
For normal people, this is a non story.
I know. AFP and the Tea Party have been happily married for years.
It just goes to show how ignorant these left wing writers are. They don’t understand AFP just as they don’t understand the Tea Party.
To them AFP is a demonic force, so all voters should consider them to be a demonic force.
Cain probably needs a national guy now instead of Mark Block. That said, Mark is a good guy in my book.
This is going to get good...watching libtards squirm.
>> Especially ...how Tea Party fans will react to these supposed “deep ties” to the Koch brothers
I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but close ties to the Koch brothers is a “plus” in my book.
Another hit piece by The Washington Post, the “news”paper in the nation’s capitol? Cain must be doing well in the polls; they save this type of thing for when a conservative Republican is in the lead (George Allen, “macaca”, 2009); Bob McDonnell (wrote some college paper about the role of women 30 years ago, 12 stories on the first day, 2009); Rick Perry (family bought a place with an offensive word on a rock that the painters didn’t fully cover, 2010). Somehow, the Washington Post never can bring itself to do the slightest investigative journalism of Obama (Reverend Wright? why no college or law school grade transcripts? deals with Tony Resko? why no one in college knew him or of him? health records? wealthy contributors like Soros?) I could go on, but then again I don’t claim to be a “journalist”>
They wrote this same article about Gov Perry when he was getting into the race. Ignore... :)
Did you know that Herman Cain and the Koch brothers were in the same state at the same time 4 years ago? I bet you didn't! Coincidence? I don't think so!
Did you know that Herman Cain and the Koch brothers both stayed in the same hotel room in New York City a mere 1 year apart? I bet you didn't! Coincidence? I don't think so!
Did you know that Herman Cain's cousin's uncle's grandson's stock broker is also the Koch brother's cousin's uncle's grandson's stock broker? I bet you didn't! Coincidence? I don't think so!
Did you know that the guy that Herman Cain bought his dog from once worked for a guy that bought a car from another guy that was the 3rd cousin on his dad side who ALSO was the 6th cousin to the Koch brothers on his mom's side? I bet you didn't! Coincidence? I don't think so!
Deep ties, deep ties baby!
“It just goes to show how ignorant these left wing writers are. They dont understand AFP just as they dont understand the Tea Party.”
Yep, the desperation of the left and their attempts to keep Perry on life support only grows when you read these articles.
bttt
This is good news. It means at the appointed time Mr. Cain will have little problem raising the needed funding.
“This is good news. It means at the appointed time Mr. Cain will have little problem raising the needed funding.”
I was thinking that too. Oh well, there goes one of the Perry-bots best talking points.
LOL.
The ONLY thing this story is trying to do is prove that Cain isn’t this non-political great businessman.
But then we all knew that.
Koch brothers are not a problem, but being a hypocrit is.
Come on, marty60.
Dontcha know, Herman Cain does no wrong. His voice alone will carry him to the White House.
Don’t you pick on Herman Cain. He’s perfect!
My Bad......Self slap.../S
