I would never have guessed that Witcover was still alive.

Seems like it wouldn't take long to mark up Neil Kinnock's biography, and then get back to his day job.

So whose biography did he use?

Mr. Witcover doesn’t appear to like Herman Cain, but I would bet he has his nose up Elijah Cummings posterior.

Would I bet my first of second born the Cain will be our nominee? Would Mr. Witcover bet his childs life that Obama is the son of Obama Sr?

Flavors....melt?
Who knew?

The use of such a grindingly obtuse and ham-handed metaphor, coupled with its glaring LACK of originality suggests...

...that “Jules” is a preening pinky-wagging J-skool ‘product’, who never met a word he couldn’t molest into an unrecognizable steaming stinking pile.

Would that HIS chosen O’flavor had melted, eh? His juvenile sniffling is almost audible.

DOn’t let the media characterize the Republican nomination process. They are doing their very best to diminish it.

Cain has been on a steady path upward, that is not flavor of the month. Since the first televised debate in South Carolina, the focus group in the studio, even though they may have been for another candidate when they walked in, voted overwhelmingly for Herman Cain after the debate. And it has only grown since.

I've given my first small donation {not the $ 1,000 I had saved for Sarah} to Herman and will keep a close eye on him for the next several months.

He is a straight talking, no BS kind of guy, that admits there are a lot of details that he doesn't know {who knows everything?} but that he has been studying and learning.

He is honest, and as far as the msm can tell, has never cheated on his wife, doesn't screw the family pet, has been cured of cancer {but that will be an INFLATED ISSUE}, goes to a real Christian Church {not presided over by Rev. Wright}, and has no skeletons {as yet}.

The snarks at msnbc are calling him the token black, and saying that he is only there to make us feel good and prove that we are not racist.

No matter what we do, the left will twist it to fit their convoluted view of the world.

I don't care what the lefties think or say, my beliefs and actions are not going to be effected by their views.

NO Cain?
Then who’s a conservative to vote for?

DO NOT ask me to “hold my nose” and vote for RINO Romney. That would not end well.

The Left cannot comprehend anything deeper than appearance. Substance is beyond them.

Herman Cain is the flavor of the month, and those melt fast

Which flavor would I prefer? A new "Haagen-Dazs Black Walnut", or a thin layer of Republican vanilla served over old fashioned Massachusetts manure? That's a pretty easy choice.

>The last true presidential long shot who did was former one-term Governor Jimmy Carter of Georgia in 1976. <

What the heck?? Who would have ever thought some little known senator from Chicago would be in the White House at this point in time, really? Most people would have bet on Hillary Clinton being the Democrat candidate at this point in time during the last election cycle.

Cain will probably be the nominee.

Here is how I arrive at that determination:

1. First you start with the fact that Romney will NEVER under any circumstances be the nominee.

2. Then you eliminate everyone who has already imploded beyond their ability to come back.

3. Then you simply look at who left: Santorum, Gingrich, Cain

4. And then ask yourself, if those were your only 3 choices who would you pick, and you will quickly come to the conclusion that Cain is going to be our nominee.

Could be, but he has one thing going for him that the previous flavor of the month didn’t have — Palin has officially announced she is not running, so there’s no reason to attack him.

If they think it’s Cain’s month, it’s going to be a VERY LONG month...something on the order of 385 days.
