I agreed with her on something else recently (on completely different reasoning)...

...which can only mean one thing.

Must mean she might be indicted if this went through.

I cannot believe I am agreeing with Maxine Waters but for once in her sad effed up life she is right. This super committee IMHO is unconstitutional and changes the structure of Congress. It never should have been voted in and it needs to go.

I feel the same way. As Newt said, it is one of the dumbest ideas to come down the road. What Waters doesn't like is that the triggers will more than likely be the result with half of the amount coming from discretionary spending.

Note to Maxine:

Shoving NObamacare down out throats was a ‘threat to the democratic process”.

Does that bother you at all???

Yep. Nothing will be gained by convening more secret meetings.

It's a ploy. If the Republicans were not controlled by the elitist Republican establishment that cried and cowered away their leverage over the administration, they would attach an amendment to the legislation repealing the entire debt agreement that would STOP THE DEFICIT SPENDING immediately. Fat chance the RINOs in charge are smart enough or brave enough to do it.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) wants to kill off the new deficit-cutting supercommittee, which she called secretive and a threat to the democratic process.

Wow, she and I actually AGREE on something.
