Reading about how the Japanese view Zippy it really makes the news yesterday about his attempted apology for bombing Hiroshima in WWII even more disturbing....I would imagine that was one of the first signs the Japanese saw of our weak and clueless “leader”.

You can imagine them sitting there, saying to themselves: Well, we didn't like being A-bombed, but still -- that was one of the most momentous decisions in America's history, and they've had to live by it ever since. Now here's this guy, seventy years later, unilaterally offering an ideologically driven apology for something his country did before he was born -- like he can just sweep away seventy years of history as if it never happened, all in the name of political correctness... where the @#$%^ does he get off?
