I simply disagree. A campaign is a window on the candidate’s leadership, decisionmaking and hiring skills. If you run a campaign badly, what does that say?
Understanding what responsibilities you delegate, and knowing when to make the big decisions and when to let others handle details ... that’s presidential decisionmaking. If a candidate cannot manage a campaign or staff well, they will have a hard time running the White House. Here is one take on Bachmann’s staffing issues, an how its impacted her campaign:

So, he manages it? Or does he simply have a heightened sensitivity to the fact these people are probably dishonest ~ he has been campaigning for 5 years!
I think your life's experience tells an awful lot more than your campaign staff.
BTW, whatever private retirement plan you have your heirs and assigns can benefit from it when you are dead. The federal employee CSRS/FERS plans die with the retiree.
You can work out the comparable actuarial value of that.
OK, thanks for the info.
Yes, hard core establishment types for Romney, but there are not enough of them. Many of the rest of us are not going to suck it up and hold our noses this time.
The McCain campaign was like a slow motion train wreck. You knew what was going to happen, but were powerless to stop it.
If the Republican establishment tries to shove Rino Romney up our ass it will be another train wreck. I will wont be buying a ticket this time.
