“Drill, baby, drill” will not have the impact that he thinks it will have.

Unfortunately, you are probably correct and and the lack of drilling is the root of so many of our problems.

Perry is the candidate who would be going after EPA, Energy, and Interior departments.

Romney and Cain don't seem to give a hoot about energy.

OK...if polls matter or trustworthy [at this stage I’m not too sure] this is a very good thing. As Perry has said distinct difference which is Perry vs Romney=Obama lite.

It was wise of Perry to adopt Palin’s energy policy. We’ll see if he’s smart enough to adopt her zero corporate tax rate.

When I see crap like that I really have to wonder if "conservatives" are uninformed or just plain dishonest.

Dishonest, the number of wells drilled in the united states the last two years goes into the thousands.

And who do you think is advising him? The Palin’s come to Texas a lot...Perry gives them the best tickets to any pro game. They are good friends. When Sarah was having the radio interview with Hannity she talked about her list of getting the economy moving again #1 was energy #1 is Perry’s..energy.

They’re drilling all around me but we do need to overturn the Great lakes directional drilling ban.

Unfortunately only Bachmann has mentioned that one.

No doubt, but the not drilling stuff is a lie.

Agreed, I’m just irritated with the fantasies that only this candidate or that candidate has talked about any particular issue.

Conservatives need to break this dangerous habit of relying on talking points and do some actual research.

He got that right.

Cheap abundant energy is key to the economy.
Balanced trade agreements are also key.

I don’t think Palin is advising him, maybe on the energy stuff which is so very important to America’s future. Most likely he just recognized a good policy (Texas being a big energy state)

I’m too heartless to vote for Ricardo, but between this and Cain’s insane “999” plan, he may just find a way to get back in this thing.

Bachmann was great on the “wall street bankers in jail” question. Also on the 999 plan.

I thought she did very good despite the hoopla over the 666 joke.

ROFLOL, they said they did a poll by a face book ad. LOL. HA, HA, the magic 8 ball is more reliable.

That's what I said about all those threads about Face Book polls showing how strong Palin was. Don't remember you pointing out their flaws back then though. Glad to see you've wised up.

Cain is a neophyte. 999 plan is an insane plan. I couldn’t believe when he said Greenspan. After I thought about it...I realized he said Greenspan cause he knew no one else who’d been head of the Federal Reserve. I had to agree with Paul and who he named even though he ended with we do not need the Federal Reserve. I have to agree with Paul. LOL

This one is a step past the normal sorry Internet poll, it is based on face book. I am sure all those super smart occupiers are on face book as well. I read where one of them said that they just put a request for food on face book, and bang the food shows up. Working on my request for 10 million.

She has some pretty good plans for anyone willing to look. Things like overturning Frank/Dodd, repealing Obamacare, eliminating the department of education, opening up federal lands to mining and logging etc etc etc.

I don’t claim to understand all of it (Repatriation) but most of it looks pretty good. http://www.michelebachmann.com/issues/americanjobsrightnow/

The simple fact is that you could put hers or anyone else’s plan out there under a random candidate’s name and the supporters of that candidate would praise them while bashing the other candidates.

He’s got that right! To bad he didn’t make mention that one of the other benefits of drilling (aside from jobs, economy), would be to lower the price of a barrel of oil.

Lowering the price of oil, if below $75 per barrel, which is the minimum needed for Iran to sustain its economy......we could effect internal chaos in Iran and it would put a stink bomb in their plans and terror assists!

Perry could throw that out there and show how we can knock Iran down with peaceful means while benefiting our own economic growth.

She shouldn’t have done the “devil” statement.

She also shouldn’t have attacked Perry for having been a Democrat when she was a Carter girl.

I don’t think Governor Perry likes to attack people and that’s what happened in the 2010 debates and this year’s debates

Perry has talked about the debates. He has no time to explain anything thoroughly. So he hits the points that he needs to then stops. I was pleased with that debate last night. The panel tried to make him disappear which wasn’t Perry’s fault. I am pulling for Perry cuz I know he is who this country needs. Others are trashing him...whoever the media goes after which has been Perry is the one we get behind.
