Serious question: if he ever had it, has Ed Schultz totally lost it? There's lots to be said about the Occupy Wall Street movement. But of all the cockamamie comments, of all the nutty non sequiturs, surely Ed Schultz's takes the crazy cake.
On his MSNBC show tonight, Schultz claimed that what lies behind Republican criticism of Occupy is . . . racism. In a beyond-bizarre analogy, Schultz somehow said that there's "no difference" between GOP congressman Peter King's criticism of Occupy Wall Street and . . . Trent Lott's 2002 birthday-party praise for Strom Thurmond. W-h-a-a-a-t?

Ed Schultz accuses Republicans of racism for opposing Occupy Wall Street. Claims “no difference” between Peter King’s criticism of Occupy and Trent Lott’s birthday-party praise of Strom Thurmond. Total bizarro ping to Today show list.
Torch the place, Ed!
He can’t even be a lunatic right.
That’s sorry.
Can’t even get crazy right. LOL

If the ad were fake Craigs List would have pulled it by now based on complaints and flagging.
Its been a live ad since 9-26-11
Eddie! Fatboy! You’ve got to give the race card a rest there Skippy! You liberal white crackers have worn that sucker out.
These people lack the reasoning capability of lower level primates.
I’ve seen more intellectually powerful arguments on elementary school playgrounds.
it used to seem unfair that the democrats use the race card constantly,
but now it seems that the more they use it, the more
they are educating people about how evil they are.
Racist racist racist
Bigots bigots bigots
These jackasses are broken records. They’ve got nothing so they resort to childish namecalling. Not to mention their use of the defense mechanism of projection, covering up their own prejudices. Mark my word.
Hatred makes you say stupid things. And he is eaten up with hatred.
Eddie is just suffering from another Norman Bates moment.
Racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism, racism. Everything is racism to these people.
So I guess the guy at the occupy wall street protest throwing out a bunch of anti semetic nonsense at that elderly jewish man was not racist in the world of Special Ed
If you ever gave any of these bozos a Rorschach test, the answer to every image would be: “That’s Racist!”
I think he must be a parody show.
Yawn.
This guy must put a lot of people to sleep with his mindless droning.
The Get-Out-The-Vote-for-Oboma in 2012 parade going on in NYC is white. The communists are trying their best to round up blacks for the cause. They’re advertising and offering to pay. I suppose they’ll probably gather a few for the right price by the end of the week, though.
The only thing missing is foam around his lips.
The amount of viewers who know what Schultz had to say just doubled by posting his screed on FR.
This just shows how absolutely brainwashed and ignorant the majority of Americans are - because they will believe this trash... despite the very obvious fact that the majority of the “Occupy” crowd are... WHITE...
What an absolute idiot.
Then again - there are a lot of folks I have encountered who believe the TEA Party movement is racist as well...
I’m for OWS, hope they run someone for president.
It would seem the word “racism” no longer has any connection to the beliefs or behavior of the person to whom it is applied. It has come to be nothing more than a “you disagree with me, therefore I want to hurt you” word.
“These people lack the reasoning capability of lower level primates.”
Are you bigoted toward the rest of the vertebrate species, not to mention the invertebrates? I suppose you’re a Republican ... it would figure.
Ed, I hope you’re lurking on FR so that you can report on this newest outrage.
he must think we are racists because the occupiers smear their faces with poop and we don’t like how that looks
They need to OCCUPY NBC.
Ed Schultz is just Maddow in drag.
Sgt. Schultz only gains from any discussion about him on FR - just ignore him and he’ll melt into a useless puddle of spit and hatred.
What’s Schulz saying, Republicans don’t like white people?
Schultz’s goal, and that of the Left in general, is to stir up hate against all who oppose them. Making sense, being honest, avoiding stupid or hypocritical statements — none of that matters to these people.
That’s why we will probably win the battle for public opinion. But to win the war, we have to limit vote fraud.
The morons at MSNBC must get a bonus check for the person that can make the stupidest, bald faced, completely devoid of fact, lie of the week.
Your posted picture of Eddie-Sh. reminds me of something I saw in a kindergarden book that I read to my grandchildren.
Don’t tell me - - - . Darn! Why can’t I remember? Okay, three monkeys, or was it four - - - ? Well, anyway, “Look, no evil - - -. “ No, that’s not quite right - - - .
I’ll work on this tomorrow.
Its simple. The Left is obsessed with race. I know I have two ubber leftist brothers. Race explains everything alot with “poverty”. When trying to explain 9/11 many of them said it was caused by poverty till any sane person could point out that many of the 9/11 terrorists were from wealthy families. Racism is always the #1 cause they will always hide behind even if it makes no sense.
So . . . Republicans hate white people now?
Most Black Americans today know NOTHING about Black History earlier than MLK. If they did, none of them would be Democrats, Ever.
The Democrats were clearly the pro-slavery party in the 1800s, and following the Civil War the Democrats fought against giving black Americans any Civil Rights and did everything to prevent blacks from being a part of the political process which is why they formed the KKK to intimidate blacks and whites from voting for pro-civil rights Republicans. And for over 100 years Democrats in congress voted time and time and time again Against any civil rights legislation proposed by Republicans.
Democrats today still have Blacks in a form of slavery, by twisting their knowledge of history by erasing history older than than MLK. And their new Slave Master is keepings them in Want, and the Government being the provider.
Does Fat Eddy know this?

The Democrats did not elect their first black American to the U.S. House until 1935, and he was from the North. The Southern Democrats waited until 1973. The first Black Senator was not elected until 1993.
During the Garfield vs. Hancock election a handbill was passed out as a reminder of who the Democrats were. It would be considered inflammatory language today, but if you were at age to still remember the Civil War and was handed this handbill, it was very profound and true.
Why I will not Vote for the Democratic Ticket
I am opposed to the Democratic Party, and I will tell you why.
Every State that seceded from the United States was a Democratic State.
Every man that shot Union soldiers was a Democrat.
Everyman that loves slavery better than Liberty was a Democrat.
The man that assassinated Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat.
Every man that sympathized with the assassin every man glad that the noblest President ever elected was assassinated was a Democrat
Every man that wept over the corps of [end of] slavery was a Democrat.
Every man that cursed Lincoln because he issued the Proclamation of Emancipation the grandest paper since the Declaration of Independence every one of them was a Democrat.
Soldiers! Every scar you have got on your heroic bodies was given you by a Democrat. Every scar, every arm that is lacking, every limb that is gone, every scar is a souvenir of a Democrat.
The handbill then contrasted Republican and Democrats:
The Republicans have done some noble things things that will be remembered as long as there is history. But there are some things they did not do.
They did not use an army to force slavery into Kansas
They did not oppose emancipation/
They were not Ku-Klux
They did not scourge, and hang, and shoot, and murder men for opinions sake.
They did not organize the Louisiana white league or the South Carolina rifle clubs
They did not drench the South with the blood of inoffensive colored men
Maybe Ed Schultz is suffering from early onset Alzheimers. Even career race baiters like JJ and Al Sharpton wouldn’t get behind a line like that one.
Btw, I call the OWS crowd the “0.01% Movement”.
Lol on the tag line.
I’ve been posting this tagline for weeks and you are the first one who understood it lol..DING DING DING You are the winner.
Their tactics have changed to . . . just confuse them to death?
Hey, its either on or off. Too easy. Seems you are one of those that are always ON.
Thanks for posting this...is there a place I can find this aggregated list of the first black congressmen and party affiliation on the web? I was not finding an aggregation when I googled, and I am quite interested in being able to provide such information from an authoritative source.
Even among programmers, it seems fewer and fewer appreciate binary—and how wonderfully efficient the clever use of bit-wise operations can make an algorithm.
