March Against Immigration Law Asks 'What About the Children?'
WAKA ^ | 09 October 2011 | - Amanda McKenzie

About 200 college students and others from Huntsville came down to the Capital City to raise awareness for the children that may be affected by the new law on illegal immigration now that it has taken effect.

The National Association for the Prevention of Starvation is taking a stand against Alabama's law on illegal immigration. Students from Oakwood University in Huntsville said they wanted to represent those who are not able to represent themselves - the children.

"We work with children in those communities and a lot of them are afraid," organizer Mia Pile said. "Many of them are American, but they're really afraid about what's going to happen to their parents."

So they stood on the Capitol steps, bearing signs and singing songs in unity as they presented their questions about the law.

"What will happen?" Christine Whittaker asked. "Will their parents get deported and the children get split up into the foster care system? Will they be allowed? They're Americans. Just like us. They're Americans."

You never see the same people asking what about the children , when illegal aliens are driving drunk and kills both parents, I never see the same groups ask, what about the children. I never see the same people ask what about the children, who are rape victims who will be scarred for the rest of their lives. I did not see anybody here, offer to take in any of these children, they care so much about.The parents hire human smugglers to be alone with their children to come to the U.S. far to many are raped, kidnapped, they become victims sexual slavery are forced to work in prostitution or the sex entertainment industry; many of the customers are illegal aliens. I never see any Christine Whittaker's address problems like this,that illegal aliens are paying customers and illegal aliens think it is normal for young girls to work in prostitution or the sex entertainment industry;

Take them with you to your native land, you will be welcomed with open arms by your family and friends. I just love a good home coming, now hurry along your family is waiting.

The children are more than welcome to “go home” with the parents. I’m sure that their “home” countries will take them without issue...and they’re probably already dual-nationals.

Also, when they get there, they won’t have any trouble speaking the home language, because that’s all they ever heard at the dinner table anyway.

They should look forward to their new adventure in life.

Yea, I know, I’m HEARTLESS...but I can’t help it.

Why don’t these people work to fix their own countries?

It's just a talking point with them. The law was revised some time ago to send the chilluns' with the parents.

The kids can decide later when they are adults if they want to come to the USA.

I think it’s time for these college students to start paying some big time taxes. After all, they’re in college, they must be rich. Have you seen what the colleges and universities are asking for tuition these days?

Seems to me that we shouldn’t be keeping citizens of another nation, since those kids are also citizens of some other country, here. They should be free to return to their other nation.

"Will their parents get deported and the children get split up into the foster care system?

When a serving member of our military with a family is ordered to transfer to a new permanent duty station I have never heard of someone wondering whether the children will get split up into the foster care system.

TAKE YOUR CHILDREN WITH YOU.

Yes, what about the children-our children, who will be taken from and paying for these people on into infinity.

See them in the checkout in Walmart with a cart load of groceries, or two, using WIC and Food Stamps, while right behind them with half the stuff is a young American couple, both working and making too much for Food Stamps by about $50.00, but can't afford the "stuff" these people get for free--that is free to them. Someone, however, is paying the bill. To see who, look in the mirror if you are a taxpayer.

These citizen children can go home with parents and return when they are of age.

"They're Americans. Just like us. They're Americans."

They may be U.S. citizens due to a misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment but let's not get carried away.

I have no problem with the children of course going with THEIR parents....who knew well the risk to their children by coming here. Any guilt for what the children might fear or feel is directly on the parents shoulders where it belongs.

The Parents have known for years now that the US was planning on and moving toward addressing the illegal alien problems...they’ve had years to go thru the proper channels before coming here....our immigration laws are available to any who desire to obtain them...they’ve had time to have gone thru the channels established......they CHOSE not to and with that the risk of what they face now.

HAd our border been closed and at the very least secured these people likely would have risen up against their government and they’d be on their way to establishing a healthy nation. But no it’s just easier to step across the border and claim this nation as their own...”coming home” is their new buzz word...”we’re not illegal”.

Why don’t these people work to fix their own countries?

They'd have no choice if we had closed borders...but because we don't it's just plain easier to step into the US where they know the illegal alien issue will never be settled and they can be taken care of...and they are...

Now their numbers have increased to where they claim this is their nation we took from them...that they have simply come home home. Imagine this arguement in a court of law....would go on for years and years and they wouldn't care for they will have raised their families by then as well as "Pathway to Amnnesty" will happen. They loose nothing.

They need to be with their parents. On a bus. Headed back home.

That was easy.

“But no it’s just easier to step across the border and claim this nation as their own...”coming home” is their new buzz word...”we’re not illegal”.”

No kidding. Back in the 90s, a friend of mine noticed that President Clinton was ALWAYS hiding behind kids and uniforms (i.e., military, cops, etc.). It was a great observation and certainly holds true for the Democrats today. It is up to us Republicans to NOT feel heartless and DEAL WITH these issues once and for all, so they finally will be disposed of.

"We work with children in those communities and a lot of them are afraid,"

A human infant will try to escape the suction tube during an abortion. It tries to get away.

I wonder if they feel the same kind of compassion for the truly innocent?
I doubt it. These illegal kids help them politically. Their illegal parents vote democrat.

“Will their parents get deported” Yes, if they are here illegally and it sounds like they are.

“and the children get split up into the foster care system?”
foster care or adoption, if the parents don’t want to take their children with them.

“Will they be allowed?” Who? The anchor children or their criminal parents? Didn’t we just go over this? Oh yeah, you want to be teachers ...

“They’re Americans. Just like us. They’re Americans.”
Who?! You’re beyond tedious. I say let’s deport Christine, too, just because she’s a pain in the: ostracism, or banishment as the ancient Greeks practiced it. C’mon, let’s vote.
