She looks like a hooker. Sure she wasn’t arrested for something else?

I thought she was suing the pretentious art rock band.

If it was a class action, I was going to sign on.

http://www.lookupbook.com/directory/location/tx/fresno/bridging-beyond-tomorrow

Incorporated: 10/2010; This business has not yet been classified.

what a co-inkydink. Bridge, tomorrow, bridge, let's see, where have we heard that one before?

Ah yes, 'ol wooden hisself, the Goracle! He tried to sell us

though it rather loses something in translation, if one never saw Gore do that silly hand motion, 'bridge to' thingy.

Y'all 'il just have to do with this stupid campaign button [below], if you can't see in your mind's eye the buffoon doing the push/forward slice/air shove motion when he (just about EVERY time) he recited that meaningless, vacant slogan.

Bridge to Tomorrow? Non-profit? And she likes politics?

Rainbow/Push wannabe maybe? And admirer of Acorn? Hoping she can or could position herself as a (cash flow?) go-between for all those folks Obama was going to pay all the tolls for, for crossing, uh, bridges?

First, they try to sell us a bridge.

Then they tell us all those ee-vil boll weeevil repuglicans are stopping bridges from being repaired!

Bridges (to the 21st Century?) poor people have to cross on their way to work, even if they have to drive their broken-down car along the shoulder to get there.

There IS a timeline, and Rush DOES have archives of all his shows; what he was saying as she was transported to the jail would be interesting to show a jury.

I have listen to Rush more years than I would like to admit.

I have never heard him attack Blacks.

Now Jesse “Race pimp” Jackson, and Calypso Louie are memorable. But that is not an attack, it’s fact.

Oh the 2nd story is some repeat offender has accused the HPD of giving him one H of a beating.
Childress said the officers never said a word, they just started swinging.
Houston Chron:
“They hit me on my forehead, hit me on my ear,” Childress said. “The Spanish cop and the tall Caucasian cop, they the ones that hit me first.”

He said the other officers involved in the alleged incident were white and black. He said he cannot identify them by name.

He said he did not resist and he was beaten until he blacked out. When he regained consciousness, the officers were still hitting him, Childress said.

“I thought I was fixing to die,” he said.

Childress said he lost six teeth and needed 56 stitches.

He was treated at Ben Taub Hospital and ended up in jail. He’s been charged with possessing more than an ounce of cocaine. He denied having any drugs.

Childress has a long history of arrests on charges of assault, assault with a deadly weapon and drug possession.

He claimed that the officers were the ones who broke the law this time.

“I know what it’s like to be harmed by the police,” Childress said. “I’ve just been waiting for that opportunity they hurt me in the wrong way and I could tell somebody about it.”

“I’m scared of the law,” he said. “We pay ya’ll to protect and serve us.”

The Houston Police Department declined to comment because of the ongoing investigation.

WORD TO THE WISE. DON’T TAKE YOUR COCAINE TO THE ER WITH YOU.

The McNabb Comment, Revisited

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

Sammy in Fayetteville, North Carolina, hi, and welcome to the Rush Limbaugh program.

CALLER: Rush, how you doing, buddy?

RUSH: Good, sir. Thank you.

CALLER: Look, I'm confused about something here. You said something Friday, and I don't want to make you mad about this but I want to ask you if you can tell me on the quote about McNabb isn't a great quarterback and the media do overrate him because he's black. That was a quote from somebody, and I don't know who -- I had an argument with somebody here to work about it.

RUSH: You're having an argument with somebody at work over what I said about McNabb?

CALLER: No, well, you were quoting somebody about it, and it got all blown out of proportion.

RUSH: I don't know what your argument's about, but here's what happened.

CALLER: Okay.

RUSH: It's the ESPN pregame show. It's week five of the NFL season. McNabb is not performing well. Everybody's wondering what's wrong. In the production meeting prior to the Sunday show I learned they're going to be discussing what's wrong with McNabb and what's wrong with Eagles. It's going to be two different segments of the show. So I'm listening to these guys, and my job is to object as a fan if I hear something I disagree with. So they're going on and on and they're talking about it, and I said, "Wait a minute, you guys, I think the problem here is that the defense is not getting enough credit for the Eagles' performance. The defense are carrying the team. McNabb, I don't think he's playing that well. I think McNabb is a little overrated because the media, very socially conscious, the NFL is very socially conscious, they want the black quarterback to do well. I think the media's got a little prejudice in that regard," and all hell broke loose two days later. Nothing happened that day or the next day, but two days later all hell broke loose. So really all I said about McNabb was that I thought he was overrated. What I said about the media was that I think they, as a bunch of social liberal do-gooders, are still interested in a black quarterback doing well, and so they're willing to overlook the fact that he might not be as good as they want him to be, and, therefore, when they're wondering what's wrong and why they're tearing their hair out, the answer is right in front of their face. That's what it was. It was a comment primarily about the media.

CALLER: Okay. Okay.

RUSH: Now, that's from the source. I am the source authority on this. You can take that to wherever you're having the argument. But I guarantee you whoever you're having the argument with is not properly informed. Here's the exact quote for you. "Sorry to say this, I don't think he's been that good from the get-go. I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous a black quarterback do well. There's a lot of hope invested in McNabb. He got a lot of credit for the performance of the team that he didn't deserve, the defense carried 'em." Bam, that's what it was, and you would have thought, you would have thought that J. William Fulbright was back filibustering the Civil Rights Act by the way these people reacted to it. That's all it was. It's seven years ago and they're still quoting it and talking about it in most stories about McNabb. So there. You tell 'em that at wherever you're working.

The point is that the “loser pays” of Texas will mean zilch in the Federal court.

Right, exactly. I thought I noted that in passing.

More to my last: Oops, sorry, I was remembering my parallel post on the Texas board. Well, I guess "Obama judge" did indicate I meant a federal court, but it wasn't as explicit as my other comment.
