Mandate Mitt, aka Mitt Romney, can spin this all he wants, but he is on record as wanting every state to embrace the individual mandate approach.

I wonder how many more incarnations of Romney we will have before this election cycle is over.

We had Romney version 1.0 when he ran against Ted Kennedy. Romney version 2.0 when he was governor. Romney 3.0 when he ran in 2008. And now we have Romney version 4.0 in the debates.

Amazing...

Yeah, and every single version has major bugs.

wow! FINALLY F I N A L L Y!

Romney is a target rich environment, I have stood there with my mouth hanging open each and every debate as he slipped away once again without a scratch, due to the others spending all their time tearing everyone but Romney down.

Major, as in bugs, doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface. But I get your point...

Much more info is available on the net that exposes him time and time again as being a flip-flopper par excellence.

No one else even comes close to him, except Obama, who actually surpasses him - when it comes to breaking campaign promises.

WAR is PEACE. IGNORANCE is STRENGTH. MANDATES are FREEDOM.

That would make a great banner for Romney’s campaign. I will be voting in November, but I’ll write in a conservative for president/VP rather than vote for Romney if that big government extremist gets the nomination.

Yeah, and every single version has major bugs.

Romney has bugs like the malware "anti-virus" software programs have bugs. He's as bad as the disease, with his only virtue that he is perhaps slightly less obnoxious about his malicious actions.

And Herman Cain said he would pick Romney for his VP.

The only mandate I want to see is the one where the Supreme Court rules Obamacare unconstitutional and outlaws it.

GOVERNOR RICK PERRY: Gun control is hitting the target you're aiming at.......

Mitt Romney: We do have tough gun control laws in Mass. I support them and will not chip away at them.

Simple test:

If you are a druggie, which is more important to you? Buying a government mandated health policy? Or buying your next bong hit?

If you are an illegal alien, which is more important to you? Buying a government mandated health policy when you can show up to the ER and get your cold medicine free? Or sending the money to your mama in Mexico?

If you are a responsible young American in good health, which is more important to you? Buying a government mandated health policy which is now larded up to include mandated coverage for the previous two categories and more? Or buying a nice gift for your best friend's wedding?

As I’ve said before, if Mitt is the GOP man then we need another party; very badly.

exactly, the whole reason the Tea Party exists is because of Republicans like Mitt.

I detest that man.

Anyone who looks at this and concludes that Romney would keep his promise to uproot Obamacare is either stupid or crazy. Given the chance, Romney will carefully preserve and exploit whatever parts of Obamacare the Supreme Court leaves standing. If the Court overturns it in its entirety, Romney would sponsor a Republican version very nearly as noxious. Romney shares nearly all of Obama’s assumptions. He isn't going to set a different course.

But hey, perhaps we should go back to talking about gardasil, Texas tuition rates and offensive signs on rocks. After all, that stuff is much more important.

All the more reason to send TEA partiers to the House and Senate. I want a potential stranglehold on the Executive, no matter who wins the White House.
