Fat is a lifestyle choice, not a medical condition.
Making fun of a person’s medical condition is not funny. Ever. Period.
The problem is that Letterman doesn’t mock democrats. It’s a strategy of his to go after Republicans that he thinks could win.
He put down Sarah Palin every night for years, and democrats thought that was funny too.
He said Sarah sports a “slutty flight attendant look.”
Letterman “joked” that Sarah Palin’s daughter was “knocked up” by A-Rod during the seventh inning stretch when they attended the Yankees game.
Letterman made a min-crusade out of mocking Palin.
Letterperv has been irrelevant for many years. He’s a crass, rude, ugly man, inside and out.
I like Christie...in New Jersey. I watched his speech, it was ok....but he’s no Marco Rubio.
If Rubio gets picked for VP, Letterman will find a way to go after him. That’s who he is.
Maybe Christie will punch back and point out Letterman’s shortcomings.

I basically agree with you, although I have to admit I thought "Secretary of Cake" was funny. I agree that a tendency to be overweight is a medical condition. Now that it's Chris Christie, everyone is getting religion about this. But mostly on FR, obesity is ascribed solely to a lack of willpower.
BTW I have never had to worry about this condition.

Letterman does have a bunch of writers, though, who must have been coming up with that anti-Palin stuff night after night the last few years.
It worked out ok for black and skinny. His aim for destroying the country is on schedule.
