President Obama has Twittered, Googled and Facebooked millions of American voters at his town hall meetings in collaboration with those companies, and this week he will visit another Bay Area technology firm to push his jobs message.
Obama's stop Monday in Mountain View to star at a town hall at the headquarters of social networking site LinkedIn is the first of two tech-related events planned by the White House. On Wednesday, Obama will participate with Yahoo in what's billed as "the first-ever Hispanic-focused online roundtable" at the White House.
The public LinkedIn event comes at the close of Obama's two-day California trip, which includes several high-priced re-election campaign fundraisers in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and San Diego.

So the question is, why is he doing a mexican campaign event at the White House. Isn’t it against the law to campaign in federal buildings? Or am I mistaken?

Nope, Chuck, he is a past, present and future fool. He is a has been Messiah.
Companies should start dropping out of LinkedIn in mass. Looks like they are a far left outfit. You would think companies would know better than to get wrapped up with politics.
There's no printing costs like you would have with posters, buttons, bumper stickers, etc.
The cost of an IP address is minor compared to air time for radia and TV commercials.
They don't have to pay anyone to walk neighborhoods door-to-door. In fact, there's no local presence at all. You could house the entire campaign in one room in DC.
I suspect Obama is hoarding his campaign funds for now. Is he broke? Is he saving it for a bruising primary battle? Last-minute ad blitz? Walking-around money? Or does he intend to simply pocket the money?
Obama is making the same mistake that Al Gore is making.
They both have deluded themselves into believing that the “problem” is that their messages aren’t getting out to the people, when in fact the actual problem is that their messages are being heard loud and clear, and the people are rejecting them.
