What they’re doing is illegal. Fire them all and start over.

Then haul them all into court and fine each one for contempt.

I'm a public school teacher in AZ - I agree with you - fire them all and start over. What a bunch of useless idiots who can't think for themselves. I do NOT belong to the union here nor will I ever.

NYC has the Taylor law for this kind of thing. Under it, for every day they are on strike the rank and file are fined 2 days pay and after a certain time limit, the union loses its right to collect dues. They are also fined and not some joke amount, The Transit union tried this a few years ago and it cost them dearly.

You have my sympathy. Move to eastern Washington. It’s another world.

What would be great is if parents got a taste of home schooling’s success and mutual benefits with their children.

Go PATCO on ‘em!!! There are plenty of unemployed teachers ready to pick up the slack. And maybe a state law that an illegal strike automatically terminates tenure would get their attention.

And don’t forget these union leaders, ie, hoffa, trumka etc, must all live in the style they’ve become accustomed to. When they travel from state to state, do they sit in the economy section???? What class hotels do they stay in when away from home? The questions go on, but you get my drift.

Hi,
You’ll agree that the abysmal management of our schools is scaring the talent away! My dad is a chemistry prof at the university nearby. The students give such wonderful evaluations of his classes, because he is so passionate. Lucky he is better/ as well paid there as he was in industry. - Has an “Endowed Chair.”

I was on the Dean’s list at the U in computer science, state water polo team (in high school) did swimming and tennis too. Even have a photo of me in the state chess final.
Anyway, I can guarantee that if my local schools paid me near, or as well as Microsoft did at Xbox, start-off, I’d be a teacher, like my dad, absolutely no doubt about it.
I’d contribute with swimming, maybe the chess or debate teams. I’d love it. It would be so much more rewarding. Unions literally steal, if not money, but also potential from our society.

One of my sons was big into American history. When he got into high school he encountered Marxist history revision and anti-American opinion he had to parrot in order to make the grade.

He may have been a teacher of American civics and history had it not been for the lame politically correct ideology of the Unions. He’s getting a scientific doctorate. History is still his hobby.

I have not said anything to him yet, but the Leftist liars are taking over hard science, too - see man made global warming nonsense and the socialist takeover of medicine. I am still hoping American scientists will come to care more about science than playing politics but I have my doubts.
