Posted on 09/14/2011 6:46:47 PM PDT by Carling
Curious. It's been two entire days now, and I haven't seen or heard from Sarah Palin on FoxNews explain how she knew something was wrong as far back as 2007.
Maybe Greta’s busy?
Well, I guess Gov Palin is waiting for your sage advice. Sorry, but I find it amusing that people still do not get she plays the drum her way.
she knew that Carling had her best interests at heart, so I think that`s it.
Could also be that she is within hours of announcing a run for the US Presidency
New to politics, huh? Welcome to FR.
Wow, the Perry disciples sure are afraid of a potential Palin candidacy.
that would be ex governor, resigned governor
Why the hell does she get under your skin so?
The media is not nice to her at the moment. Its frustrating to have an evil media who can drop decade old stories on the fly.
Are you logged on?
"(N)early $30,000 from the drugmaker
since 2000" given to Perry
and "more than $355,000...
to the Republican Governors Association since 2006
which was the year that Perry began to play a prominent role."
Then there was the stock bought and sold, no doubt.
Oh Bert, you playing that ol’ tune? It’s kinda tired around here.
I prefer The Quitter
You want her to say it again so you can attack her again?
As I understand, she didn’t mention Perry’s name. Although if the shoe fits, wear it.
I thought a counter thread about an actual announced candidate was appropriate.
Where has Sarah Palin been the past two days? My guess is polling how badly she damaged herself by her stupid accusation, but that’s just me.
Why hasn’t Rick come up with a better answer than “you can’t buy me for five grand?”
Why hasn't CFR-Ric sued her for libel yet?
. Guard the Borders!! .... "Gard a sil?"
Car and his cohorts had an extremely rough time getting swatted around by reality on another thread last night. So I guess he decided to start a new one and hope no one from yeaterday’s PDS fest would notice.
Former CoS=> Lobbiest => Mandate => Appearance of impropriety
Sorry you don't get it.
She was obviously intimidated into stepping down from her governorship by her liberal political opponents. I never imagined she would have been such a total coward.
(just kidding - trying to get people riled up lol)
“I prefer The Quitter”
Your preference makes you look foolish. But hey, that’s your call.
I agree. She and Bachmann both looked witchy. I have a question for you. When do you think the Palinistas are going to realize she’s stringing them along for the funding? November 2012?
Why? So you can whine some more?
As well as basketball I guess
Did you watch watch what media commentator Palin said on Monday night? Here is some information for you.
Palin even went as far as to lend her voice to the charge leveled by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) during the debate against Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R): That he allowed a law to go though requiring HPV vaccinations for adolescent girls because of a $5,000 campaign donation and his relationship with his former chief of staff, who went on to lobby for a pharmaceutical company.
"I knew there was something to it," Palin said of learning while she was Alaska's governor that her Texas counterpart had given the go-ahead to the vaccine. "Now we're finding that now, yea, something was up with that issue. It was an illustration or bit of evidence of some crony capitalism."
I'm just wondering why Palin and Bachmann aren't following up on this charge. Could it be internal polling telling them they actually lost support because of it?
There is a much more target rich environment with DumBO and Solyndra.
Ah Norm...at least I’m not betting on the losing horse.
Because Limbaugh has sent a warning shot across the bow of both Palin and Bachmann on this issue.
Obsessed much, McGinnis?
Why should she follow up? It’s Rick who should follow up. It looks like a cozy deal. An unusual special executive order for a company that is VERY VERY special to Perry’s Chief of Staff.
Perhaps it is just the appearance of impropriety, but the appearance is there. Why doesn’t Perry follow up and explain that he has never had a conversation with his COS about his current employment...and release his emails. Sarah’s emails are out there, why not Rick’s?
Sarah Palin, not for sale? That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all night. She’s selling a fantasy to the Palinistas and they are buying it hook, line, and sinker. That’s why she hasn’t admitted she’s not running. When she does, the support dries up and her relevance (what’s left of it) goes away.
On 2/7/07, the WSJ reported that Merck was desperate for cash.
With estimates that the settlements Merck will owe for its Vioxx litigation
will amount to approximately $970 million, and the expiration of some of its patents,
Merck faces a huge cash flow problem.
But if Gardasil is mandated, Merck will generate sales of approximately
$1 billion in the first year alone, with 5 year revenue projections of up to $4 billion"
In 2007, when Texas governor Rick Perry issued
an executive order that all girls entering the 6th grade
would receive Gardasil, parents were furious.
Some argued that the vaccine would promote promiscuity.
The order was eventually overturned."
If you saw her Iowa speech or heard her speak, she’s said dozens of times that you don’t need a title to make a difference. Right out of the gate at her TEA party speeches she’s said that it’s up to us to hold our elected officials and candidates accountable. There’s no need for her to repeat herself when the rest is up to us.
Your money, your choice.
Do you have inside information? When is her next appearance or speech?
“I haven’t seen or heard from Sarah Palin on FoxNews explain how she knew something was wrong as far back as 2007.”
She probably knew back then the same way Perry now knows, after he figured it out a few years later.
If only this election was about Gardasil, eh. But alas, it’s just one news cycle.
Good point. I also think both Bachmann and Palin are seeing some negatives attached to them in their internal push polling data.
If it had impact, and if Palin was going to run, she would jump in right now. Instead, Gardasil becomes an old issue. I honestly think she just spoke something she wasn’t really convinced of without knowing the ramifications. She campaigned for the guy, yet she knew he was corrupt?
It is about FREEDOM from impetuous RINOs.
