California's largest wind farms kill on average, more than 80 Golden eagles per year and up to 1,000 raptor deaths per month. You all will not believe this report, and not one company has been fined or arrested. If a farmer killed an eagle that was killing his sheep, he would be fined up to $5,000 and maybe serve time.

Even more frustrating is 18 years ago all federal and state lands have been off limits for logging to maybe save a spotted owl or two! 20% unemployment and our county is on the federal dole to the tune of $50 Million a year to support our county government all to stop logging and save the spotted owl!!!!

Thanks for posting this little bit of reality for those who call themselves conservatives and bow down to the Solar/Wind/Mythanol gods.

One of our younger relatives is an excellent engineer and duck/goose hunter.

Decades ago, he pointed what has become a hidden reality to protect the wonderful green wind pushng scam artists.

In N California the first wind mills and recently the second/third innovation wind mills were put into passes that waterfowl and other birds use to migrate and travel from water to water and to feeding grounds.

So these ducks/geese and othe waterfowl flew into the windmills that had been placed in their flight paths for eons.

The wind mills slaughtered/slaughters them on a huge scale.
Then in the early morning, the raptors, hawks, Perigines, Eagles and other protected species come to feed on the dead and dying waterfowl. If the wind is still blowing, they get sliced and diced by the huge propellors.

Coyotes, foxes, racoons and other predators have taken up residence in the killing fields below the wind mills.

In the past few years during the economic melt down, humans are out there trying to snag/gather the dead/dying ducks/geese for food. It won’t be long before packs of well fed coyotes start going after those who are stealing their food.

Owls get slaughtered, when they fly into the propellors on windy nights. Our younger relative has wondered how many were so called endangered spotted owls die each night/week/month/year and never are reported to Fish and Game and the Fed Wildlife sham agencies.
