More than a dozen Canadians have told the Psychiatric Patient Advocate Office in Toronto within the past year that they were blocked from entering the United States after their records of mental illness were shared with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Lois Kamenitz, 65, of Toronto contacted the office last fall, after U.S. customs officials at Pearson International Airport prevented her from boarding a flight to Los Angeles on the basis of her suicide attempt four years earlier

If they were all violent, raving lunatics, you might have a point.
However, if you read the article, people who may have been treated for depression (among other things) in the past are being turned away.
The Canadians are trying to say that it’s people who have had contact with the police. But that seems to be a lie, as people who have never had contact with the police, are discovering that their medical records are being shared with DHS.
To tell you the truth, I’m a lot more concerned with the way the Canadian health care system deals with the “mentally ill” than anything.
My ex girlfriend was taking Paxil for depression but there was virtually no oversight. It was prescribed for her, an initial follow up was made a few months later, then it was delivered to her door with no oversight for at least two years.
But all the Africans with aids, come on in!
Wonder if Islamists medical records are exposed like ours. Probably not.
Let’s apply it to the southern boarder as well. But there is no reason for the nuts to come here. Of course there is nothing wrong with them visiting their fellow travelers in Texas.
Well, that may be another issue.
The point is, the Canadians are releasing private medical records.
Example: A person loses their spouse and gets treatment afterward for depression. 2 yrs later, they want to come to the U.S. to vist their grandchildren. They apply for & receive a visa and then get turned away at the airport.
That’s really screwed up.
Democrats don’t want the competition.
It doesn’t sound as though they are sharing medical files. It sounds more like police information as it is described in the article.
If that’s so, how come we have so many Canadian actors in Hollywood?
And don’t forget that people with HIV are now welcomed with open arms. Obama lifted the ban in 2009.
I wonder how many have come to immediately check into hospitals to get that free medical care. And how many have infected more Americans.
Money stolen out of American’s hard earned accounts to fund the Obama’s deatruction of America.
