Not surprising. If the majority don’t like your policies...well just burn the Reichstag and take over.( a little over the top, but you get my meaning)

Leave Texas out of the water drugging idea! He lives in DC.
I seriously doubt he’ll see more time in Congress after this term. He becomes progressively more and more nutty as he ages.
To: SaraJohnson
I think he already said he isn’t running for reelection again.

Thank goodness there aren’t that many of them to do too much more than buzz around like the gnats they are.

Ron Paul needs to read his
Bible.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages;
I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely,
all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,To take a spoil, and to take a prey;
to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited,
and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
Just
WHO do you think those people with the
unwalled villages are?

Rather be in a swamp than a latrine. :)
In fact, given the past year in Texas, we could use a good swamping right about now.

Good, because I have better things to do than to ensure his old age retirement.

If obama continues his reign for another four years, there just MIGHT BE a rush for the border.

... have you ever looked at the requirements for citizens who want to leave the USA permanently?
Or the confiscation of a large chunk of assets?
If the USA became another south Africa - either via a change in politics or taxation, etc., those who want to
leave would try to leave any way they physically could leave - boat, air, border. This is exactly what happened
in south Africa. A wall would eliminate lots of possibilities for leaving.
No, I’m not a Paul supporter.
I’m a citizen with an eye around the corner.
And I’m not willing to pretend it couldn’t happen in my own lifetime. In fact, I’d like to be prepared.

Ron Paul is great on domestic spending and the limits of constitutional authority for federal action, but he is in outer space when it comes to foreign policy and defense.
He should be appointed to go after the Fed, Fannie, and Freddie in the next administration and told that if he says anything about border security or the Mohammedan threat he will be carted off in a strait jacket.

Could you add something about not letting him mention anything about foreign affairs?

He should be appointed to go after the Fed, Fannie, and Freddie in the next administration.. He basically has that job now, he is chairman of the house monetary policy committee- and he hasn't done jack s***.

The really sad thing is the number of paleoconservatives who delude themselves into thinking that Ron Paul is good on immigration.
NumbersUSA was correct to give Paul and F.

Are there any freeper threads about when TSHTF?
Or Bugout bags?
Or survival kits?
Or what if.....?
There are a LOT of freepers who think that the government could turn on its citizenry. And history has shown it gets really really messy AND why we have a Second Amendment! Even the Founders thought it possible.
I walked border patrol on the East German border back in the 1970’s. I’ve seen what Germans ‘knew’ couldn’t happen.

The bottom line is, when it comes to national security, Ron Paul is the closest thing to George McGovern that has come along in a presidential race since 1972. He has much more in common with McGovern than he does with President Reagan.
