“remains a formidable candidate with the most money and a deep organization and fundraising network”

But he has a glaring lack of broken glass supporters. I don’t see his money buying much more support than he already has.

I'm with Palin on this one. Anybody But Obama. As distasteful as it may be, if Romney ends up with the nomination, I'll vote for him. Now’s the time to take him out...in the primaries.

Agreed.

And as I suspect Palin does, I believe Rick Perry is the best candidate we’ve got to defeat Romney and Obama.

Suit yourself, a none vote is a vote for Obama.

I have a terminal lung diease. If I still have a beath left in me come Nov.2012 if I have to call an ambulance to take me to the polls to vote against Obama, I’ll do it and pay the fee myself.

Again, the story here is not Romney, the Tea Party or anything related.
It’s the media.
They’re are promoting the meme of off-the-wall chaos among Republicans , conservatives, Tea Partiers, etc. to give the impression that their unvetted, unproven, failure mystery messiah is the calm , resolute “adult in the room” in contrast to those nutty, radical Republicans.
Stay away from their bait.

This has been discussed before.

It is counterproductive to tell the RINOs that you will hold your nose and vote for them. It almost guarantees that we will end up with nothing but another damned RINO candidate.

Sorry about the terminal thing, I'm sitting here hooked up to oxygen right this minute, as I am 24/7!

If I go to the polls on November 6, 2012, and my choices are Obama (D) and Romney (R), then 4 more years of socialist, progressive hell is automatic.

I won't absolutely commit at this point, but I seriously doubt I have a preference between Republican Progressive Socialist and Democrat Socialist. If that's the choice, I'll probably either leave the line blank (most likely) or stay home (less likely).

I'm not sure Perry can win either. I think that Obama would like to run against George Bush again, and the Dems and the media think that would work agains Perry. Republicans should not underestimate how unpopular George Bush is, even today, and I have my doubts that this country will elect a Texas Governor in 2012.

Any version of Palin/Cain or Cain/Palin would be my ideal ticket. Also, I believe that Romney = 4 more years of Obama, Perry = too close to call, and any other candidate = Republican president with Republican House and Senate.

The tough thing then will be not doubling the size of the Department of Education in 4 years, and increasing the budget of the Department of Energy and the Employment Prevention Agency by 50% in four years. That's what happened the last time we had a Republican controlled House and Senate with a Republican President.

Republicans aren't the answer. Especially not Ruling Class RINO Republicans. We need as many TEA Party conservatives as we can get, and we need them to be victorious in the Republican primaries, and possibly to take a shot at the Democrat primaries, too.

They boo him off the stage and he thanks them? lol!

I'd like to see that happen to all politicos who have blurred the line between liberal and conservative.

The Tea Party Express is NOT the TEA party.

Nothing against the Tea Party but the tea party express has spammed my inbox with literally hundreds of emails.

Not in the primary, not in the general election, not ever.

I was about to reply to your reply, to expect the inevitable, "If you don't vote for Romney in the general, it's the same as voting for Obama" but I clicked "view replies" underneath your comment and see that you already got it.

I will never vote for Romney, I don't give a big rat's a$$ what anybody says, furthermore, if the owner here ever started advocating for Romney, which I do not believe ever will happen. I would not write a grand opus, I'd just quietly not return here anymore.

As the owner has pointed out, F.R. is not a republican site, it is a conservative site. Just because Romney slaps an "R' behind his name doesn't merit my vote or support ever.

I know, I know, "don't let the door hit ya and all that.

The owner here actually commented on this thread. Short and to the point.
