Nor in mine. In my opinion, if we do not have a candidate who espouses the same ideas, has the same independent status, demonstrates a genuine love for our nation’s first principles we, as a nation, are all but over no matter which party’s candidate is elected.
The status quo will no longer do. We need a true patriot, unbeholden to anyone but the American People to lead this nation now.
Really? Actually, vocal tones and speech patterns do help make a listener spellbound. Good luck dealing with the corporate world with a strong accent or heavy nasal twang. It isn’t good for business and it sure isn’t a good start for a presidential candidate. Too many people are just looking for a reason...any reason, to not vote for Sarah already.
I can’t think she was not warned but she may not be planning on running anyway.
Lou Holtz sounds like Daffy Duck and is one of the most successful motivational speakers on the corporate seminar circuit. He holds his audiences spellbound. Why? Not because of vocal tones and speech patterns, but because of his character, his passion, his achievements, and his authenticity.
Sarah Palin is one of the highest paid, most sought after and influential public speakers in the world. She delivered one of the most watched and highly praised convention speeches in political history. The idea that she's lacking as a speaker in some way is overwhelmingly belied by her success.
Too many people are just looking for a reason...any reason, to not vote for Sarah already.
A voter who would reject her candidacy because of her voice is not worthy to be pursued.
I cant think she was not warned but she may not be planning on running anyway.
One suspects she wouldn't listen to so trivial a warning. Like Lincoln, TR, Truman, and both Presidents Bush before her, Palin knows that successful leadership and speechmaking has very little to do with awkward vocal tones, accents, or twangs and much more to to do with conviction, substance, purpose, clarity of vision, passion and persuasive ability.
Your picture brought me to tears. God Bless You.
We’ll have to agree to disagree. I stand by my 16 years teaching speech and coaching debate teams.
