So why would any conservative want to show up at a Labor Day parade It's the principle of the thing. No union thugs are going to dictate to "anyone" what they can't do.

Let me guess, the unions are now claiming it was they who wanted the Republicans there all along, and they finally prevailed against the parade organizers and the town leadership.
If that’s not the case, then they are breaking their usual tactics.
