Excellent quote. It’s odd sometimes to realize how many of these issues have been reflected upon, decades, centuries, and even millenia ago. But I guess it should not be surprising, since people have been fighting these same ideas since probably the war in heaven!

I'm really worried Perry is going to have a terminal case of foot and mouth disease. "Treasonous?" That goes to motive. That's a very very strong charge, he'd best back it up.

The correct quote is "almost" treasonous.

When you disparage a man for his words, you need to be very precise in repeating those words.

I would add that in a campaign, undecideds generally fall to the challenger.

Right.

I did some back of the envelope scratchings by looking at Gallup and 2 Rasmussen reports and I have come to the conclusion that there is very little room mathematically in the undecided column for Obama to make up the shortfall and this without the disposition of undecideds to break against the incumbent.

Agree 99% with your #50. Only disagreement is that I am committed to her period, until or unless she decides she is not running.

If she opts out then Perry and Bachmann are all that’s left (Cain is simply not Abel to craft a viable campaign - 2/3 of a pun). The quicker the decks are cleared and everybody focusing on the commie in the WH, the better we will be.

A lot of liberal guns are focused on Perry right now, especially because he is getting down and dirty, so his .380 coyote peashooter needs some cannon backup.

The libs learned well from Slick Willie that you never let a charge (or attack) go unchallenged long enough to get the main headline (or the most air play). The GOP is still in the dark ages here. Also, the GOP are rapidly becoming the masters of the circular firing squad and tent folding. They are flat out incompetent at selling their message (eg the debt ceiling). Everyday Obutthole’s attacks against them go unchallenged.

Sorry about the rambling. I do like your analyses.
