There’s an old saying: shit or get off the pot!

I’m a huge Palin fan, but the time has come for her to “**** or get off the pot”.

I made the same comment before I read everything here but that is exactly right. I question people’s motives who hang back and decide what is correct (for them). I trust a person who makes up his mind, declares early and sticks with it: damm the consequences. Everyone else is a scumbucket who only cares about him/herself.

I find it disgusting that you would refer to Gov. Palin as a “scumbucket”. Personally, I find her decision to wait until she’s ready to announce or decline fine with me.

Well, she’s not doing it, you are letting yourself do it and the press is doing it along with you.

Exactly. As I said to one of the ankle biting PDSers last night- if Palin stays out, every single one of those who are in (and their supporters) will be fighting over a Palin endorsement like dogs over bones.

We've already seen it with other politicians, so don't be surprised when it happens.

As a Palin supporter, I’m getting impatient with her failure to commit. I have enormous respect for her political instincts. If she runs, I am sure the day she announces will be well calculated politically.

If she doesn’t run, it will destroy her credibility going forward by playing the GOP field, voters and media out this long. I would lose an enormous amount of respect for her if she waited this long and ultimately does not run.

It takes a massive amount of money to win the presidency and Palin would not have access to much of the GOP country club establishment money that will go to Romney or Huntsman or even Perry.

I can’t imagine what she is waiting for. If she waits to long, she will never be able to raise the money to win the nomination.

The way the money goes is pretty ruthless. Fundraising becomes inertia. The person who gets the early money is seen as the front runner, drawing more money. The ones who don’t get the early money are seen as un-electable, and the money refuses to commit to them. It becomes a self-reinforcing vicious circle.

I am baffled what Palin is waiting for, unless her detractors are right in saying she is just a publicity seeking talking head now. If that is the case, all respect is gone.

I support her as the best choice to overturn Obamacare and lead the USA back from the brink of socialist tyranny, if not totalitarianism. I have no way of knowing actually, and I am not one to fall in love with any politician as they all end up being a bunch of bums to one degree or another and break your heart.

I’m just baffled at this point what she is waiting for and why she hasn’t begun fundraising yet, if she is serious about running for 2012 president. I don’t buy the argument she is staying out of the media cross-hairs. She is already fully vetted and they will trash her ruthlessly whenever she declares, so that argument strikes me as invalid.

I do trust her political skills but if she is going to run she has to get in ASAP. If she is not going to run, then her stock will drop dramatically by stringing us along so far and it will only get worse the longer she strings people along. If she runs than all this goes away, but she needs to get out there and do serious fundraising. She is already way behind the curve.
