I thought all the Coreys were dead.
Corey Feldman already can't get a job in Hollywood. Years as a notorious drug addict and drunk will do that. Plus, child actors almost NEVER are able to transition to adult roles--they never seem to age into adult looks well.
Since then, he's been working the "Pity me and all the washed-up child actors" schtick pretty heavily. I see that he managed to say something that got him some media attention today.

It could well be that he is speaking the truth and CAN’T name names....because he will not have DNA proof, and will be ruined by lawsuits.
I believe he is telling the truth. This doesn’t come off to me as some typical, “everybody look at me and feel sorry for me, I’m blaming others for my problems” interview.
He is taking responsibility as a father and seems level-headed and well-adjusted.
Which was really impressive, considering that he died in 1955.

Oh yes, and be sued for everything he’s got, and have nothing with which to provide for his child. Maybe not such a good plan.

Arthur Freed exposed himself and tried to molest Shirley Temple when she was eleven years old and had just moved to MGM Studios. At the same time, L.B Mayer pretty much tried to rape Shirley's mother in the adjoining office.
This while Shirley Temple was at the peak of her fame and power as a child star. If they pulled that with her, how much do you think they got away with with powerless unknown wanna be stars?
I saw her in a movie with Carrie Grant and she was pretty hot for 16 (or so).

There certainly is a code there, and anyone who dare violates the code of secrecy will end up buried in the middle of the Mojave Desert.
I was never involved in movie-making. But I was involved in the production of quite a few commercials which employed children.
The environment of such productions always bothered me. The parents of "child actors" were generally...ah, shall I say, disturbing.
I never suspected any director or studio person I was working with of exploiting the child. But I could see where there was a clear opportunity to do so.
Taking a child on location, with their union-required entourage and personal bus was also a situation that made me queasy.
On balance, the whole Hollywood environment was something you didn't want to get real close to. Especially, if there were children involved.
Did you know Shirley Temple is still alive? I was surprised to discover that, but I’m sure others here are aware.

It’s probably safe to say that any actor that was acting since a child, but then went through a period of self-destruction, didn’t do that because they were devastated over not working inhumane hours.
On a trip to Bali I stopped in to a “Artist studio” in Ubud.
An American from LA ran the thing and it was filled with gay boys all under 18. The guy was probablly 65yo.
Kind of pegged my “creepy” meter for life.

Well, then I guess I stand corrected. I must have been given wrong information. Either way, it appears that the percentage of perverted homo or heterosexual relations is different in the scum-bag ridden Hollywood than in the general population. Different because Hollywood condones the casting couch method as an acceptable adjunct to career building/making.
You may be right. I seem to recall that the last FBI report I saw ran along the lines of 65% of pedolphiliacs being opposite sex and 35% being same sex (overwhelmingly male on male). If homosexuals males make up 2% of the population (yeah, I know the supposed argument that male adult sex with a male child somehow isn't homosexual sex; go figure), then they commit pedophilia at a rate of 16x the rate of heterosexual males.
Plus, sex between a nineteen-year-old male and his sixteen-year-old girlfriend is lumped into the opposite sex statistics.
The scariest thing in the report, if I remember correctly, was the incredible disparity between the average number of victims of opposite sex child predators and same sex predators.
Opposite sex predators averaged in the single digits. Same sex predators averaged over 200 victims.
Don't trust me on these figures - I had to sit through several sexual abuse presentations early in the 2000's for the child sexual abuse clinic at a local children's hospital as part of my work. Look up the studies yourself. I just remember that the jaws of everyone in the room dropped when the average number of victims information from the FBI report was presented.
