Even better would have been for him to step down and we had President Palin.

After this past weekend’s downgrading by S & P, that same Marxist is now TOAST.

I would like to agree with you but the truth is, in spite of his failings, Barry could still get reelected. It's all dependent on who the GOP nominates to try and unseat him. Given that he has the complicit liberal media behind him, it won't be easy. But I also believe Barry has not reached his low. The economy is still failing and he refuses to acknowledge that and change course. Just how bad will he allow things to get before he does is yet to be seen. I just hope this country can survive his brand of economics. Based on the first 3 years, that answer, in my mind, is no.

I stand by my position that Obama is TOAST and I will tell you why:

Even more of the liberal base that Obama is depending on are NOW starting to turn against him and see him more for what he is becoming, a political TITANIC.

So the liberal base is turning on him to the point that they would vote for a Republican? I wish that were true I just don't believe it is. I think they would vote to reelect him regardless what he does.

You're looking at things too logically. You need to think like a liberal (I know, that's an oxymoron). They don't give a rat's behind how bad he is they still think he is better than any Republican. I'd love to be wrong on this but I've seen too many libs reject a solid Republican challenger and vote instead to reelect liberal democrat trash. Of course, only time will tell.

Most likely they will stay home next November. Forgot to add that.

It is called getting discouraged.

They’ll vote. It may be for the free carton of cigarettes or to keep those evil Republicans from cutting their entitlements. But I do hope you are right.

Not next November though, look for a LOT of libs STAYING HOME, because of the “d” word and it is NOT Dems but discouragement. No amount of bribes will do anything.

Sorry. Yeah, I’m a bit testy today. It’s that name, “McCain” that gets me riled up. After the way he has treated Tea Party members, and worked behind the scenes to undermine attempts by conservatives to right the ship, I simply do not care for his ilk or those who even smell like him. Sorry if I over reacted.

I thought it was interesting how illiterate McCain must be.

As much as I detest John McCain and wish very much that he would retire and go away, he would have been a better president than the Marxist Kenyan.

Sure, and being urinated on is "better" than being deficated on.

It may technically be true, but the reality is any sane person avoids both.

How right you are! Only one character actually accomplished his goal, and it was Samwise the Hobbit.

Or, that he is suspending his ability to be a U.S. Senator.

He has the ability to be a US Senator?? When did that happen? Why wasn't I told?

I wasn’t defending McCain as you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who dislikes the man more than I. But some of my liberal friends are willing to discuss politics (most avoid it for obvious reasons). And when talking with them I tell them ‘don’t blame me, I voted for McCain’. It’s of little consequence, sure. But I can and do proudly proclaim that I am not to blame for what is happening to this country as I did not vote for the Marxist Kenyan. They really hate it when I say that. :-)
