I’ve actually had “natural” hot dogs - they were pretty good. Didn’t taste like hot dogs though. And had to stay in the fridge. But they are nice.
I don’t view it as lunacy, I’m just pissed off that the muzzies attacked us on 9/11 and ever since then we’ve had American people and companies bending over backward to show sensitivity toward them, while they - as a culture - have shown no sensitivity to us for what their people did to ours.
Any company that caters to muzzie culture deserves whatever scorn we cab heap upon them. The muzzie culture is not compatible with our culture. Whore Foods Market can suck it!
Oh, and please note that I didn’t say anything about government stepping in at all.
Then don't shop there. In the old days you had to go to a Kosher butcher or a halal butcher. That a national chain can pull this off is frankly amazing. When they put out their Christmas marketing campaign......ignore it. See, wasn't that easy?

Can’t stand WF and the dirty and sickly looking tree huggers who you see going in. YMMV but that’s what frequents the one around here. I admit to buying two things from them only because after months of hunting in other stores I couldn’t find any - gallon jugs of real maple syrup and unsweetened coconut many, many years ago.

If the meat hasn't been tampered with and tastes the same, then I -- for the life of me -- can't see why it matters what mumbo-jumbo was spoken over it. It just does not affect me and it does not affect you. Why are you giving it supernatural powers?
Now, don't get me wrong, I think Islam is a vicious religion, but this hubbub over halal food seems a bit overwrought. It only means that the food you and I always eat also meets the requirements of Muslims.
As far as the Whole Foods campaign, I'm hard put to decide whether I'd rather go into one of their stores and run into Muslims or old hippies. I'm leaning former.
Trust me. I know the differance. But they do both make you fat if you over indulge.
