Wade Rowland Sanders used to be this close to Sen. John Forbes Kerry. He and Liveshot were both Vietnam vets, Navy swift boaters, officers and gentlemen. They were awarded Silver Stars for their gallantry. During the 2004 presidential campaign, Sanders accused Republicans of running “vicious public distortions” of his dear friend’s war record.
The retired captain would do anything for Lt. John “Reporting for Duty” Kerry, USN (ret.), and vice versa.
But that was then, and this is now — and if you ask Liveshot about Wade Sanders today, the answer is, in effect, “Wade who?”

The little that I've read in the leftist press never mentioned this. They let it seem that the Silver Star was stripped due to the child-porn conviction. Did Kerry get his S S for the same or a different incident?

The Boston Herald states the Kerry is (Ret). He did not serve for 20 years or more. He resigned as I know it.
Wasn’t Kerry’s first discharge under less than honorable because he went to Paris and took the Vietnamese line during the Paris Peace Accords while he was still obligated to the United States Navy ?
Was it was then upped to an Honorable when Carter did the amnesty thing with the people that ran away when confronted with the imminence of their induction during the draft.

And I believe Kerry’s Navy records have been “Obam-mogrivied”...e.g., you ain’t seein’ anything important in those records.
Rumor has is that the slimeball had a dishonorable discharge which was later changed when the appropriate dishonest democrats (redundant phrase, I know) were placed into high positions.
If I ever see that Kerry slime in public, I’ll be sure to give him my most professional fighter pilot one-finger salute...with hopefully a fusillade
of my best potty language.

It's the best they have. In fact, Kerry's long-time pal seems to have been a purveyor of child pornography who also managed to wrangle himself a fraudulent Silver Star in the early 1990's.

No. Sanders and Kerry trained together at Coronado, but it doesn't appear that they participated in the same missions in Vietnam. Kerry was transferred from his original assignment in Coastal Division 13 to Coastal Division 11 (where he acquired his own Bronze and Silver stars) after just a few weeks.
A searing article. The truth, of course, is that Sanders is no longer useful to the Opportunistic Senator from Massachusetts. And the last thing Kerry wants to do is field questions about why it seems so easy for Navy officers to accumulate fraudulent medals.
