Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) calls Republicans "dead-beat debtors" among other things during a Democratic press conference on Wednesday morning.
"The debate and fight is not between Democrats and Republicans. It's between some Republicans and their sort of cult fringe as I refer to them out there," Harkin said.

The debate is between chronic spenders who want their allowance raised so they can continue to exceed it, versus responsible people who want to cover what is owed, but not allow these children like Barack Hussein Obama, to spend more than they are given.

Oh...I didn’t know Congress was going to PAY the trillions of dollars of debt they’ve racked up. I thought they want to raise the credit limit so they can borrow still more that children still unborn will be expected to pay off. Silly me.

I once asked a family from Iowa how phony-Vietnam-hero Harkin kept getting reelected. Their reply told me that Iowa, like Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania & others, is a largely rural state ruled by a central urban elite in the state capital.
This of course was before I had to explain to out of staters how a conservative Southern state like South Carolina could elect and then reelect our own Little Lord Flimsey Graham aka Tinkerbelle.
What a curious statement! The Democrats OWN the phrase "dead-beat debtors" because they do not need a budget to spend, spend, spend. They just borrow and print money and raise taxes. What do you need a budget for with that policy?

Everyone who disagrees with a liberal/communist is “cult fringe” to these people. If just one republican would call one of these little whimps out I’d do everything I could to help them get re-elected. Just one. Slap one of the little cry baby screamers. I believe that Cult Fringe was responsible for a few seats in Congress changing parties last election Senator.
Out of reverence for the past, Senator Harkin should always be referred to as “Senator Tom ‘Dung Heap’ Harkin.”
