Should have read “would NOT have convicted” boy nothing like blowing my own punchline...been a long week.
I imagine they knew after her trial. Eeek!
Although some young boys I've known would think it so gross it would be cool. :_))
You folks ever hear of Yorkshire Pudding? Dough placed beneath the roast on the spit to catch the drippings and cook, and fed to the children so they didn’t eat much of the meat!
Been there, done that. Got several bellies full!
Oh - I also meant beef, not human!
Several years after this murder London especially the East End would be dealing with quite a few murders from the Ripper,
Yorkshire pudding is good stuff!
I think the English maid was innocent. There was a reasonable doubt. She was molested as a child.
Sincerely,
Florida Juror
***What a nice lady, feeding the starving children....yikes.**
As the Mountain men of the west used to say,....”Meat’s meat!”
Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street
**is a fun story, also.***
Adn let’s not forget Sawney Beane.
Those dang Scots!

And here is the book written about his horrific exploits:

PBS ran an exceptional documentary about H.H. Holmes Entitled "The Devil in the White City" about a year ago, (you may be able to watch it online)this is how I found out about it and ended up reading the book. Amazing story.
I think the Beane clan take the grand prize among cannibal fiends. Yeccch.
This is one severe looking woman.
Interesting! Thank you for the links. Unfortunately, I’m one of those that are fascinated with these topics (even before it became popular...Helter Skelter being my intro to that world).
I will definitely look it all up. Thanks again.
“I also meant beef, not human!”
You didn’t have to clarify... at least for me! My youngest daughter drinks “the juice”. When you are making a roast or other type of meat that is slow baked, this is her favorite part. She likes it heated and she uses a spoon and a bowl. Granted, the meat juice is flavored with pepper, garlic powder etc... but she is the only one that I knew to ever do that. Next time, I will recommend some bread (like you ate).
