Don’t get your blood pressure up, granny.

Who said anything about electing a Democrat?

I said no more RINO’s.

Conservativegreatgrandma: We’re still far better off
with Brown than whoever may replace him. Go, Brown!!
"

'Whomever' does matter.
Scott Brown will NEVER be trusted on FR again until he
addresses what he has done, and that is not likely
since he is a DNC patsy who supports Romney and RomneyCARE.

Dittos.

Go ahead folks, stay home and avoid voting for him. You will love whatever moonbat replaces him. It could tilt control of the Senate.
Again, a true conservative is welcome to run vs. Brown in a Republican primary. First they will have to knock him off
($9.6 million war chest). Who can beat that—oh I know, one
guy’s got lots of money. He’ll have to stop his prez campaign though, to run against Brown. That’s right, MITT ROMNEY! :)
(kidding...)

Anyway, after the shock of knocking off Brown in the primary, they will then enter the final as a lesser-known,
low-financed (probably) candidate against a true moonbat.
In Massachusetts. Good luck!

Could well be true. Again, he may be the most conservative MA can get, given the politics here. This is why many on the center and left do like him, and some on the right (esp.
perhaps fiscal conservatives). In a state like MA he has to pull voters from across the spectrum.

But if someone can be found who is a true conservative and can win MA, more power to them. Then again if the moonbats come out to support Obama like they supported Deval last fall,
Brown could well be on his way out. Whomever runs vs. Brown would ride in on 0bama’s coattails.

2010 special election: Brown in Red, Coakley in Blue

For those calling Brown an “backstabber” and claiming he votes “zero” percent with the GOP on the issues that “really matter,” explain the 2010 elections. There were some pretty conservative candidates running for Congress and other state offices. The GOP got creamed in MA in a year that was a GOP landslide pretty much everywhere else in the country. How do you explain that?

The answer, of course, is that Massachusetts just isn’t ready to elect anything close to what FR posters would consider a “true conservative.” We can hold our breath and throw tantrums and call Scott Brown names but it doesn’t change that reality. He is the best national conservatives are going to get out of MA.

Brown ain’t pretty, but he’s our horse so let him be. A Democrat donkey would be uglier.

Yes. Welcome to Senator Setti Warren.. Senator Mike Capuano.... Senator Alan Khazei...heck, why not Senator Barney Frank? Or have Joe Kennedy join the race. He already has two advantages: his last name and the D next to it.
And no, I don’t mean what his average grade probably was.

(other Dem candidates were mentioned like Massie, DeFranco, and Conroy, but when you raise $6,000 or $61,000 in the same quarter Brown raises $1.98 million, it’s tough to take them too seriously. Yet.)

The problem is that Romney, Brown, and the radio talk shows
exposed here on FR, remove GOP primaries
through dirty tricks. It is their way.

Underneath, the People are getting angry.

It happened before; it will happen again

Good luck with that one. Try replacing Brown with a true conservative. I’m all for it but the REALITY (there’s that word again) is that it is either Brown or a RAT. I’ll gladly take Brown.

About 6 months ago, on the coffee table in his office in the Russell Building he had two books. One was Teddy Kennedy’s and one was Harry Reid’s. That, in and of itself, should help with your questions.

Hmm. Meanwhile guess who raised $18.5 million in the past 3 months, easily outpacing his rivals? Whether it gets him the nomination or not, we don’t know (the GOP only nominates true conservatives, like John McCain...) but Mitt is doing well in the money-raising. As Zevon once sang, his hair was perfect.

Romney's backstabbing of Gov. Palin gave America
Obama for four years.
His xerox copies like Scott Brown gave Massachusetts
another term of Deval Patrick, befriender of eloquent rapists and criminals.

It did seem odd that he would have two books by rabid democrats displayed in his office, it just goes to show that outward public appearances can be very deceiving (unless he was doing opposition research (do I need a sarcasm tag?)).

Truth be told, I kind of like the tone of "Lawyers, Guns and Money", but I do want to eat at Lee Ho Fooks.....

He’ll need money from the Rinos and their friends across the aisle in his State. He’s not getting any help from the ones who helped him win Kennedy’s seat.

Most votes are just mundane run of the mill operations. The Senate Republicans are majority Rinos and he rarely is out of lock step with them; nor are the Senate Rinos usually out of lock step with the Dems. As long as he stays amoral and does not try to reform any of the “progress” the Kennedy’s have made, he’s safe.
