Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
What tv station is everyone watching to follow the trial? Here we are watching tru tv, channel 241 on DirectTv.

Did anyone see that Nancy Grace figured out what psycho Casey was mouthing at the trial yesterday? “I’d never blame my mother” and “It isn’t his fault” (referring to George). Sorta doesn’t match up with what Lawyer Baez was saying, lol!
She dumped the body in a swamp and went out and partied.
Does anyone know what the defense costs are, and who’s paying what?
Do prosecutors ever bring up the CSI factor? Was it mentioned to the jury in this case?

State of Florida is paying for both the defense and obviously the prosecution. I would imagine at cost over a half million.
I don't think it was brought up and there's a reason: juries tend to perceive that kind of argumentation as a concession by the prosecution that their evidence is weak.
It's something that is tailor-made for the defense to jump all over.
But at what rate for the defense lawyers...? There’s got to be a cap..I assume that Baez is doing much pro bono to get the publicity..
There certainly is a theory (with evidence) about how Caylee died. It’s been said that she was chloroformed and had her nose and mouth shut off with duct tape. Only the Defense says there isn’t an account.

Assume you've committed a murder, it's a pretty heinous crime, lots of evidence against you..but no overt smoking gun. You obviously will do anything possible to get off. Woudl you hire Baez to defend you?

I only watched the prosecution closing arguments; I didn’t see the closing arguments of the defense.
Now I’m searching for them on youtube and only finding tiny snippets.
Does anyone have a link to the defense closing arguments?
