Chris Wallace is back again commenting on one of his interviews, but this time he is also apologizing. Earlier today he interviewed Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann and rather bluntly asked her “are you a flake?” It’s a question that Wallace now admits he regrets. Wallace acknowledged that Bachmann seemed perturbed by the question and then addressed his viewers:

A couple of obvious reactions come out here. Chris has been hard hitting, but crude and demeaning to male candidates I have missed, and never crude and demeaning to liberal women. The second reaction is why the Chris Matthews imitation? Wallace has carried himself for several years at a level of dignity that far exceeds Matthews, but with Bachman he elects to blot his reputation with a disgusting display of bias and prejudice.

I didn’t see the interview, but heard it as I had the television on while I was cleaning a closet..I wasn’t really paying that much attention, but when I heard Chris Wallace ask her that, I thought, “WTF? Would he ask a man that kind of question. What a sexist jerk.”
I am sick of all these men (and snarky women) taking pot shots, and being openly disrespectful to smart, good looking, tough, Republican Women.

Chris knew exactly what he was doing when he asked that question. You could see the “look” on his face. Glad he got all that feedback. He wasn’t rude in my opinion...he was just NASTY.

That’s what happens when you’re a dumb little boy who got a position in the business because of Daddy’s name.
“Flake” is probably one of the more kind things that the lefties will insinuate that Ms. Bachmann is. She handled it OK even though Wallace was clearly trying to discombobulate her.
Does ANYBODY watch “news entertainment” anymore? I stopped watching ALL of it years ago.
