First lady Michelle Obama visited Nelson Mandela on the first day of her trip to South Africa today and told one greeter that her husband was "pouty" that he couldn't come along.
The first lady's weeklong trip to South Africa and Botswana began with a meeting with one of the three wives of South African President Jacob Zuma. During her stop at the president's official residence in Pretoria she was greeted by Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma.
Nic Dawes, the editor of South Africa's Mail and Guardian newspaper, tweeted that he shook the first lady's hand and wrote: "Michelle Obama certainly convinced the dignitaries she is excited to be here, and said her husband is 'pouty' that he isn't."

Let’s hope he keeps his “pouty” on in November 2012 when he’s defeated and sent back to Chicago or Kenya or Indonesia or Hawaii or wherever he still has any supporters.

Prayerfully, Obama will lose in 2012. But as young as he is, we will never stop hearing his voice. He will be lifted up to all liberals, generation without end, like the serpent in the wilderness. Jimmy Carter keeps talking even when no one asks. Just imagine Great Leader and the talks he will give. I too wish he would go back to Indonesia after 2012. But he won’t.
I’ve never seen a American government representative wrap, or allow their children to wrap, themselves in another countries flag, until now.

The Obama’s are not people who wrap themselves in the American flag. But some South African flag? Oh, they’ll drape that sucker over their kids and pose for photos any time!
Boy, Moochelle’s mama is one mean looking woman. It’s easy to see where Moochelle gets that scowl from. I wouldn’t want to run into her in a dark alley.
Are the Obamas from outer space? Pouty? Really, I suppose it was time to put a black family in the White House. Just for, well, for some reason. But why did it have to be a black family from outer space?

No comment on their attire... Couldn’t they at least PRETEND to be happy about getting to travel to yet ANOTHER country on VACATION? I know me and MY kids would be THRILLED at the opportunity - it’s insulting to think my family is paying for their excursions and they don’t even have the decency to PRETEND they are happy to be there...
OK, I lied... I do have a comment re: their clothes... Did Michelle pick up that coat at a Sesame Street store? I’ll make the comment I heard once; “It looks like a Kindergarten threw up on her”. And what’s with the shoes?!?! Couldn’t they at least pick shoes where the color MATCHES SOMETHING in their outfits???
