***By your reasoning, disabled people shouldn’t be alloowed to fly.***

I didn’t say that at all. Airlines can make arangements for disabled and passengers who have canes because of health or physical problems.

I am specificly pointing out that some people go out of their way to create a potentially dangerous situation when they don’t have to do so by simply puling up their pants.

Boxers are called “underwear” because they are supposed to be worn UNDER your pants. They are not made to be shown or used as outerwear. When you show your underwear you are committing indecent exposure. Nobody wants to see your underwear period. Keep your pants covering your ass or be treated like the idiot you are.

This is a style originated in prisons. It signaled to the butch prisoners that you were receptive to their sexual needs. It meant you were willing to be the sex partner of someone who wanted to violate your ass. If that is their style then they are ignorant. Rap has bred an entire generation of total fools.

I may not agree with your manner of dress, but I will defend to the death your right to dress that way. ;-)

So women shouldn’t wear heels? How about women who practice corseting? (They’re still around) They could become out of breath and faint during an emergency. A very tight pencil skirt prohibits a woman from running or stepping over an object blocking their path. Heck, very tight jeans can limit a person’s range of motion.

People don’t *like* baggy pants. That’s the real issue here.

Well, there are many fashions that I don’t like for many reasons. (The slutty look, for instance.) But I’m not going to stop someone from dressing that way.

LIBERTY is everything.

“It is if your Johnson peeps out the door.”

Hereafter, I prefer the term ‘Weiner’. So much more current.

That reminds me of the girl in line at Walmart wearing a white thong three inches above her very tight jeans.

When she bent over to get items on the bottom of her cart she revealed a two inch streak of brown showing on her thong.
People had to run away to keep from laughing out loud.

I heard about this on KKOB today and can’t figure out for the life of me why he didn’t just pull his pants up! Now he’s in jail awaiting bonding out on $11,000 bond and likely will end up losing his scholarship over this. Isn’t negative publicity and being arrested a reason for schools to pull a scholarship?

I realize his friend died but geez, did he leave his sense behind when he left NM?

As long as they have boxers underneath I don’t see any big deal or any crime.

I agree it’s probably not a crime but I think it’s disgusting! I do not want to see anyone’s boxers or tighty whities or thongs or whatever! And if the back is off their rear then the front is likely below their ‘Weiner’ (since he’s in the news lately) and I don’t want to see that in public either!

"When you show your underwear you are committing indecent exposure"

Not under any criminal statute I'm aware of. Please cite any jurisdiction where showing your underwear is classified as indecent exposure. I don't particularly want to see it but I've got more important things to be concerned with. If someone wants to look like a fool he's got that right as long as he isn't violating the law or hurting anyone else.

And there are people that think that women shouldn't wear pants or that they should only wear burqas.

Everyone believes that *their* version of propriety is the correct one. Who's version of "proper dress" do we accept as the universal constant? Heck, just a hundred years ago, people in this country were horrified by woman showing their ankles.

Personally, I believe that individual liberty is the answer. If someone dresses like an @$$ (against society's cultural norms), they are treated like an @$$. They either learn and succeed or choose not to adapt and limit their options in life.

In a free nation, people have the right to fail.

Did I miss the post that simply suggests the man pull up his pants and follow the rules? And for the record that is a ridiculous way to wear your pants.

Big difference. A woman doesn’t walk around cupping her breasts when her cleavage is exposed while a saggy panted gangsta will most certainly have a hand on said junk. The only redeeming quality to the saggy pant phenom is that it makes it more difficult to run from the police.

IMHO, this is an example of a story used to incite racial anger, strife and division in America.
