You’re quoting the BBC, which is just slightly to the right of the Guardian?

I also work with a few Brit ex-pats who confirm it. The Telegraph is the most conservative, followed by The Mail, and The Guardian is dead flat, Communist.

Watch for an independent run. There are many here who may not like it but this is what I believe is going to happen. She doesn’t owe the Republican party jack. They’ve not been as bad as the LSM but the Grand Old Party hasn’t done her any favors either.

There is nothing she has said or done that can logically lead an intelligent person to that conclusion. QUite the opposite, she has made it clear in her statements that she sees the solution in the Tea Party and conservatives taking control of the GOP.

She has stated the GOP HAS to listen to it's conservative members or it WILL go the way of the WHIGS.

But there is no mention of going third-part herself.

Sounds more like a PDSer's or a DUers wet dream than anything else.

Whether or not she runs for the White House – and the solid consensus among Republican leaders is that she won’t – the scramble over the Palin emails confirms her status as a pivotal figure in the race to challenge President Barack Obama next year.....

GAME ON!

Sarah Palin's Ping List!

As a blogger at Powerline noted, the whole saga might come to be viewed as “an embarrassment for legacy media”.

  Oh noooo! Not again!!

Hello from the Washington Post newsroom,

We have had a strong response to our initial call-out on the Palin e-mails. And as a result, we’ve decided to ask you and everyone else who responded to our initial call-out to post comments, questions, and information related to the e-mails directly to comment threads on The Fix: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix

Starting this afternoon, we’ll be posting digital versions of the Palin emails here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/palinemails

So, once they begin to appear, we invite you to:
1. Browse the emails.
2. Read what other users have posted about them in the comments of The Fix blog. Take note of what has already has been pointed out.
3. If you find something new, interesting, and noteworthy, post a comment on The Fix blog under the embedded documents. Include specifics in your comment: page numbers, direct excerpts, etc.
4. Discuss what others have found by replying to their comments.

Our producers and reporters will have an eye on the comment streams as they read and report the emails alongside you. We may contact you for further details, by way of your registered e-mail with The Post (not necessarily the address this e-mail is being sent to). If you would not like to be contacted using your registered e-mail address, please specify that with your comments.

Ryan

Amen onyx! Such “exuberance” over a non-candidate, a no nothing, stupid Conservative woman who has NO chance at the White House.

Every time I say to myself “could they be any more stupid”, they prove me wrong.

“If anything, Mrs Palin seems likely to emerge from the scrutiny of the 24,000 pages, contained in six boxes and weighing 275 pounds, with her reputation considerably enhanced. As a blogger at Powerline noted, the whole saga might come to be viewed as “an embarrassment for legacy media”.

I recall that the MSM maintained for years that Reagan was an idiot but when reams of his personal hand-written scripts were released that proved how genuine he was, the MSM just yawned and kept up the hate speech. Palin can expect no different.

She beat the media out and they're livid that she gave them the slip.
They just can't believe that she got away with that.
They can't believe she gave 'em the slip.
They can't believe that she would even try to give 'em the slip. - Rush.

What "Republican leaders" told the telegraph she wasn't running

You know, those "professional" Republicans who are our betters?

We often hear *God works in mysterious ways* and I’m a believer.

Sarah Palin never fought the release of her emails and look what’s happened to the evil media in their search to unearth dirt with the intent to absolutely destroy for any possible run in 2012!

Yes, I truly believe that our Lord has been watching over his servant, Sarah Palin, and I continue to pray He will. I know that all of her suporters are also praying for her protection and blessings.

May God bless all of her supporters and Sarah Palin and give her strength to continue the fight that must be done to save and restore our Republic, which means returning God to the centerpiece of the public square.

It is still a year and a half or so out from the election.

Yes, and this is a step in the right direction of what needs to happen for her. This is a good thing.

I think Palin is one of the four possibilities who could win the nomination (Pawlenty, Perry, Palin, Romney), and one of the three that I would be happy to support (Pawlenty, Perry, Palin). So the more that she can improve her chances of beating Obama, the better.

Is Lady Thatcher the current head of the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom? If I called current Republicans RINOs, would you then ask me “Is that how you view President Ronald Reagan?” or “Is that how you view President Abraham Lincoln”? or some such?

Ever since I started the Dinosaur Media DeathWatch™ threads five years ago, I have been studying journalism - textbooks, histories, biographies, etc. Two years ago I started my own newsblog and cover the local stuff the TV stations and local newspapers can’t/won’t cover.

It was obvious fifty years ago the big media was liberal and slanted the news. But at least back then they were circumspect.

Nowadays, they don’t even bother to hide it.
