What is her best political accomplishment?

Slammed Sarah? Hired Rollins? Fogged a mirror? Balanced a budget? no. Held an executive management position? no. I give up. What is her best poitical accomplishment?

Rollins seemed to do okay (49 States) when he managed Reagan-Bush in 1984.

So Rollins says. Nofzinger had more to do with it than Rollins. Oh, and have you refreshed your memory as to the outcome of that election? Rollins, like the short term speech writer, Peggy Noonan, claims far more than he actually achieved.

By the way, didn't Reagan advise us to "never speak ill of a fellow Republican"?

Rollins is not a Republican, check his start with the dems. And he certainly doesn't follow the all too often used quote used by weak GOPers when their lies are challenged. How about his attacks on Sarah Palin just this week? Did you happen to miss them?

Comparing Palin fans on a message board to an officially hired and paid campaign strategist isn’t a reasonable comparison.

Rollins is a piece of garbage, and no friend of the Tea Party. He was scum with Huckabee and I wasn’t surprised a snake oil salesman like Huck hired him.

But a conservative and Tea Party member like Bachmann? Extremely disappointed in her. Hiring Rollings is another questionable moment in recent history for Michele. It would be her lack of judgment and policy positions that would be an influencing factor in supporting her. She’s gone down on my list in the past month, and Rollins is one of the biggest reasons.

For the record, if Palin hired Rollins, I’d be pissed and question her judgement as well.

Please post a link to the apology. I have not seen it and would like to read it.

Justify it however you want. Treating any politician like some kind of messiah ranks the worshippers right up there with Obamabots in my book.

Coulter was on Rush yesterday. She defined the political mob by saying that they...

- Are emotion driven.

- Seek a messianic leader.

- Are quick and ruthless in attacking any dissenters.....

Now, what group of freepers does that sound like?

The Duncan Hunter crowd from 2008 and Ron Paul supporters, to name a few.

Sorry, but the only freeper group that fits the bill is the Palinites...unless you want to show us where freepers compared either Hunter or Paul to Jesus.

In your opinion. And you're not the least bit biased on the subject, are you? I mean, aside from the fact that you chose to slander an entire group of posters on FR on an unrelated thread without even having the courtesy to ping them.

If I tried, I could look at any group of supporters on FR, regardless of what candidate they support, and find some of the same type of behavior. Cherry-pick a handful of quotes from a few posters, and apply as if the entire group say and believe the same thing, and -- presto! -- proof of a cult.

She lost me when she hired Ed Rollins. The guy is a scumbag.

Michelle is my pick right now. My first choice would be DeMint, but it appears he will not get in.

If Michelle drops out, I’ll consider Cain, Santorum, or some other conservative then in the run.

But Michelle has the most specific, clearest conservative positions on the issues. That’s what it takes for me.

No, not in my opinion. Palin has been likened to Jesus by more than a couple of you guys. You know it. You don’t like to admit it but you know it.

Do not ever presume to speak for what I know.

The most common religious references I see on Palin-related threads are comments by people claiming that people who support Palin “worship” her and are cultists. I have never seen Palin referred to as being a religious figure in her own right by any Palin supporter, only by her detractors.

I am increasingly of the opinion that Bachmann IS what the MSM tries to make Palin out to be.

Then dislike them. But using their actions to influence yours, esp. if you agree with Palin politically, is just as absurd as politician worship. In many ways, it’s worse because you’re letting the actions of others influence you.

My memory of that election and all elections going back to my first vote for Ike is pretty good. As for Rollins’ contribution, the fact remains that he played a part and it was a landslide.

Your memory may need a tuneup regarding the Reagan quote. While the line was created by California GOP chairman Parkinson, Reagan acknowledged it’s author, claimed to follow it and suggested that others do so.

As for the “attack” on Palin, suggesting a lack of serious candidacy and
mentioning that she quit the governorship is hardly the stuff of an “attack.” While I admire both Palin and Bachmann, it seems pointless to get all worked up over a campaign advisor, especially this early in the game when the two candidates in question have not declared.
