"She was right but really didn’t know the answer. And anyone who is honest know that."

From watching the video it appears that she was greatly distracted by something else - I've mangled answers to simple questions when my attention is elsewhere.

She was right but really didn’t know the answer.

I might have been inclined to agree but I went and looked at Sarah's bio. Her bio shows she was a communications major. I looked further and saw that sociology studies as well as psychology are the heart of a communication major. I then did a google search on Paul Revere and sociology.

It is amazing the amount of information regarding Paul Revere as it relates to sociology. With a quick scan, it seems that the sociological topics included studies on networking as well as studies on how the current well known tale differs from the documented historical tale.

Based on Sarah's major and that Paul Revere is a topic studied by sociologists, I have to conclude that it is more than likely Sarah was aware of the deeper history of Paul Revere and had likely given it much more thought about its communicative affect on the population at large.

Let me tell you guys something.I know the media trys to trip her up at every turn. The same reason they use to try to trip up Bush at every turn. Why? Because they could and it wasn’t difficult because neither one could think on their feet.I’m not going through that again.
I’m voting for the conservative that can win that is a skilled politician.
I don’t want Palin to get the nomination period.I will vote for her against Obama easily.

Secondly if she goes to Boston she better know all things Boston just like if she went to Atlanta.
She might have knowwn the answer. But she stumbled and looked unprepared. And she certainley did not look like she knew the answer.

Oh, really? Her dad’s a history teacher and she know exactly what she wanted to TEACH to an ignorant public...She talked about the event in a way to hit on the points she wanted to make.....that the Brits were warned by Revere after he was captured that the alarm had been sent by the riders that night and the shots and bells they heard were the Colonists preparing to resist.....you can read Revere’s own words in his letter. Your smug comment is typical of someone short on facts but long on feelings. Get a clue, pal, before you mouth off.

Notice that the JackAss poster doesn't have the Manhood to admit he might be wrong after you present actual proof and logic that completely destroys his nonsensical post.

Like most PDS posters, no accountability whatsover.

It kind of reminds me of when my wife takes a wild guess on Jeopardy and answers correctley. She was right but really didn’t know the answer. And anyone who is honest know that.

The interesting thing about Jeopardy is that it requires a fill-in answer (actually a question). It's not a multiple choice where you can guess that it's either A,B,C or D and have a 25% chance that you're right.
You have to have some knowledge of the subject in order to make a successful guess, otherwise you just stand there and draw a blank.

"...takes a wild guess on Jeopardy and answers correctley."

(nice guess on the spelling) One knows more than one thinks. The human mind is amazing. Always go with your first "guess" unless further reflection shows the guess is wrong based on something concrete.

"she was right but really didn't know the answer"

And you know this how? How do you know she didn't read an account of the actual history including Revere's own statements when from the evidence, it sure looks like she has?

“indeed, she didn’t even get her diploma in the Ivy League.”

But, by God, she earned it. Unlike the Affirmative Action slugs now inhabitting the White House.

Hey T-bone. Your command of third-grade grammar is stupendous.

Indeed. She was in a crowded venue, moving somewhere (with her handlers and security folk), lots of noise, and then someone asked her to name a highlight of her trip. She started on about Paul Revere and slipped up a little. Everyone is making far to big a deal out of this, from MSM I expect this but from our side it just makes us look a little silly.

This is like having a serious debate about if there was a cherry tree that Washington cut down.

I’m not surprised by the ignorance of the chair of the history dept you speak of. These people live in a fog of liberal guilt and sense of entitlement only an academic elite can achieve. They’ve been saturated with the theory of teaching but hold little depth of knowledge or understand of their field of study.

I took it as an off the cuff shorthand summary, by a person that knows her history, and assumes every one else does.

>> Only now it turns out that she was right about Revere’s midnight ride, and the press claque was wrong. Even the professors say so, though they’re grudging to the point of churlishness......

Facts are not complicated. May her detractors choke on their bitter petulance and deceit.

57 states is brought up a lot but we have a president who can barely communicate without reading from a “um” “uh” teleprompter.
We also have a vice president who is known for gaffes every time he speaks yet the media never portrays him as stupid.
Who is smarter, Dan Quayle or Joe Biden?

Actually, I don’t care how smart our president is as long as they have leadership skills along with principles and a moral compass. Making sound decisions based on principles, morals, and experience is much more important to me than how much they know or where they went to school.

You might want to proofread your writing several times before declaring someone else's thinking deficient.
