A sad testimony of the media-centric world in which we now live, isn't it.

The primary news source for males under 35 is "The Daily Show", an admittedly fake, and biased news show. As Goebbell's knew, he who control's the message, controls the narrative.

I wonder why the article didn't compare how The Daily Show stacks up to CNN and PMSNBC, only Fox News?

Jon Stewart is lead clown of the Paparazzi Press.

Big.

Deal.

This comparing apples to oranges. His show is a comedy show on Comedy Central. His ratings should be compared to those of Saturday Night Live.

"...while the Fox News prime time and day time line up averaged 1.85 million viewers."

Sort of bogus results comparing an average of many shows to one show.

>> Fox News prime time and day time line up average

They had to average prime time and day time? Most Fox News viewers are at WORK during the day. We’re earning the money so the Daily Show viewers can steal/tax it from us.

I’ve written on other ratings thread like this that FOX should put RedEye head-to-head with these late night talk/fake news channel line ups

I’d rather watch RedEye than Leno, Letterman or Stewart - for them to stick it at 3am is stupid - IMHO

RedEye can wrestle with the big boy network channels
(Guess Mother Fox won’t let them near the chicken coops)

“Big.Deal.”

Unfortunately, it is a “Big. Deal.”.
Ask 100 people who said “I can see Russia from my house!”, and 99 will answer Sarah Palin, not Tina Fey.

The primary news source for males under 35 is "The Daily Show", an admittedly fake, and biased news show.

All is not lost. First, these younger men are indeed watching political commentary/entertainment. When they compare a source of political commentary to others, eventually, they will have a stark contrast. Second, it is academic from this point as to how many of these men will turn away from the Daily Show.

The way this thing was phrased is just weirder than weird.

The Daily show is an entertainment type of thing.

Fox news is a cable show. Stewart is on a network show.

And as someone said upthread, why not compare Stewart’s ratings to CNN or better, MSNBC.

It’s obvious they want the viewer to deduce something from this silly headline when all that should be deduced is that journalists today are a joke to the profession.

What a crock.

But I hope Fox is figuring out they are losing viewers due to their caving to the lefties accusations. They were flying high until they joined the leftist media culture.

As far as Stewart. Dummies like Dumb shows. It feeds their stupidity.

Most of those 99 won't even leave their Mommie's basements on election day.

Only The O’Reilly Factor (2.8 million) drew more total viewers than The Daily Show (2.3 million). Jon Stewart beat everything else on Fox News.

Like it or nor not BOR does beat him. What a lying headline.

I rarely watch FNC any more, and hardly ever even stop on Stewart.

As a general rule, their commentators have their heads where the
Sun don't shine, and I really gave up on them when they
interrupted a discussion of a breaking story to have a
newsbreak alert to say that the story they interrupted had occurred.

Don't need it any more, even as background noise.

And Stewart's a smarmy, holier than thou lib. His comedy doesn't
appeal to me. He could be a talking head on FNC, for all I care.
