It looks like it will be cooler than this week.
Highs of 78 and sunny, lows in the upper 40s at night.

I would bring normal attire and a jacket/sweater for the evenings.

Im just going to bring along an insulated flannel shirt for the nights.

One more week!

We need a couple of “Occupy The Gun Range!” signs.

Sweet!

That river looks a lot better than the San Jac.. it’s more like a
couple of wide beaches and a narrow slow moving stream these days.

Dang!

I started my youngest daughters shooting a few weeks ago. My 11 year old is hitting 6” groups at 25 yards with her 22 LR.

I’m going to show her this pic. Can’t wait to see the look on her face.

I was concerned with the drought. I had heard the Brazos stopped flowing.

The Trinity is about 5 foot lower than normal, but flowing steady.
Things are pretty dry so I would rule tracer rounds out. Other than that, GAME ON!

We should have a perfect day.

Yup. We’re saving our pennies.

We’re home schooling now and shooting and hunting is on the curriculum.

Tennis balls or wood scraps are excellent targets for the river.

Feel free to stop by the dollar store and pick up some tubes of tennis balls
