The Justice Department announced Tuesday the indictment of two Iraqis currently living in Kentucky on terrorism charges that included an alleged plot to deliver explosives and Stinger missiles for use against Americans abroad.

Waad Ramadan Alwan, 30, and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 23, were arrested in Kentucky on May 25, and a federal grand jury in Bowling Green returned the 23-count indictment the next day. Each faces life in prison if convicted of the charges.

Alwan has been under investigation since September 2009. Over the last eight years, officials say, he allegedly has supported efforts to kill U.S. forces in Iraq, first with improvised explosive devices and more recently by attempting to aid Iraqi insurgents with financial support and weapons, including rocket-propelled grenade launchers and Stinger missiles.

Seems the Islamofascist are going into small town America, starting a Mosque and funding (and weapons) OP.

And the FBI is too stupid to figure it out.

More detailed release:
http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2011/May/11-nsd-701.html

In November 2010, Alwan allegedly picked up machine guns and rocket-propelled grenade launchers from a storage facility in Kentucky and delivered them to a designated location believing they would be shipped to al-Qaeda in Iraq. In January 2011, the charging documents allege, Alwan recruited Hammadi to assist in the material support activities. Alwan allegedly described Hammadi to the CHS as a relative of his whose work as an insurgent in Iraq was well known.

Later that month, Alwan and Hammadi allegedly delivered money to a tractor-trailer, believing the money would ultimately be shipped to al-Qaeda in Iraq. In February 2011, the pair allegedly assisted in the delivery of additional weapons, including sniper rifles and inert C4 plastic explosives, to a tractor-trailer believing that these items would be shipped to al-Qaeda in Iraq. Finally, in March 2011, Alwan and Hammadi allegedly picked up two inert Stinger missiles from the storage facility and delivered them to a tractor-trailer believing these items would be shipped to al-Qaeda in Iraq.

Just recently Holder declined to prosecute the CAIR bunch that was seperated out of the Holy Land Foundation trial to be prosecuted as a stand alone trial later.

All the evidence is there.

“Alwan recruited Hammadi to assist him, describing him as a relative who had worked as an insurgent in Iraq.”

Now we’re giving Visas to insurgents?!

In Texas this is a no brainer. They were (are) funding AG and HAMAS.

I hope people will someday speak up and demand the Dummies stop providing Aid and comfort to a sworn enemy of the American People.

I thought Obama read a speech in Cairo that would put an end to the Muslim problem.

On another issue. Houston is a hotbed of Islamofascist.
there have been ties to Al-alawaki, the pantie bomber, Ft Hood murderer. etc etc

Yet we NEVER hear about any arrest or even investigations.
Houston is a sanctuary city. I’m beginning to think it is a sanctuary for terrorist too.

The supposed school here gives “seminars” that has quite an alum list.

I’m sure of SJL and Q10 would raise H*** if any REAL investigation was known to exist on this nest.
