Mitt Romney admits he’s a big fan of ‘Twilight’

Is Mitt Romney trying to woo the teenage girl vote ahead of next year's presidential election?

In a potentially campaign-changing development, the 2012 presidential hopeful admitted to NBC's Jamie Gangel that he happens to be a fan of the "Twilight" series. The revelation came up during a discussion of books the former Massachusetts governor has read, including George W. Bush's recent memoir. But that's not all, Romney added.

"I like silly stuff, too," Romney volunteered. "I like the 'Twilight' series. That was fun."

Myth is such a fairy. What adult male would like this crap. I tried to make my way through one of those movies because it was free "On Demand". The acting is dull and the plots are so drawn out with long do nothing scenes. Just awful. You can tell Kristen Stewart is a pot head from her lifeless acting.

It figures. Isn't Twilight the story of a young girl's choice between bestiality and necrophilia?

The Twilight series about vampires was written by a mormon woman

The hero is a twinkly guy vampire who falls for a human girl

In the end the girl marries him and becomes a vamoire

The theme is Vampires R good

The books have a lot of mormon doctrine symbolism

They are sold in the Mormon Deseret Books stores

The author of “Twilight” is also a mormon and that it has mormon-based themes entwined into the storyline.

Romney is just bleeding america of campaign money.. he surely knows already he hasnt a chance of being President.. The man could be and probably is a parasite.. a republican parasite.. He bleeds the political system of campaign cash which anybody that KNOWS how the system works... means ALL THAT CASH belongs to HIM after the election..

He is not required to send that money BACK or even keep records of who sent it.. data can get “LOST”.. The democrats totally exist on this oversight in campaign LAW... and the republicans LOVE IT AS WELL..

HOW bout a LAW that requires all candidates to send BACK the campaign money after the election if they did not get elected.. within 1 month.. and to produce a journal of all moneys spent during the election with names dates and bank account numbers the check was cleared through..

OH!.. and ALL moneys distributed through check or electronic transfer.. even petty cash..

Twilight is great! With the hero being a teenage half vampire who teems up with his little brother and two vampire killing friends. Best vampire death scenes ever!

Oh wait...that was The Lost Boys. Twilight is crap

Nope.

Steve Rabey is the author of the article you linked to...Angela Aleiss pointed out the same Mormon undertow of "Twilight" due to its Mormon author: Found here: Mormon imagery runs deep in ‘Twilight’

Exactly.

Here’s a good article on the Twilight series from the perspective of Biblical Christianity.

“Mormon Vampires in the Garden of Eden”
http://www.touchstonemag.com/archives/article.php?id=22-08-024-f

From the article:

“This brings us back to the Garden of Eden. As mentioned above, Twilight is a romantic retelling of the story of Man’s Fall presented in the engaging and exciting wrappers of a romance and an international thriller. This may sound like a stretch, but consider the first book’s cover—a woman’s arms holding out an apple—and its opening epigraph—“But the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not taste of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Gen. 2:17).

“This isn’t, however, the story as Moses told it or as Christian saints and sages have understood it. As a Mormon, Mrs. Meyer departs from the traditional Christian understanding of that event, and the nature of her departure appeals to rather than repels her readers.

“Christians understand Adam and Eve’s disobedience to God, their “original sin,” or Fall, as the beginning of man’s distance from God, a distance that man could not restore on his own, but that required the incarnation and sacrifice of a divine, sinless Savior to accomplish.

“Mormons reject this interpretation. Not only do they hold the Pelagian view that human conscience and free will are sufficient for salvation, but they go a step further, asserting that, not only was the Fall not a bad thing, it was actually a good, even necessary thing for human salvation.”

It’s no surprise Mormon Mitt likes Twilight, but lovers of the Jesus Christ of the Bible (as opposed to the Book of Mormon) should stay away, and keep their kids away, too.
