The FBI should have arrested & shipped them off to Guantanamo Bay back in 2009.

This must be a mistake. We were told Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism.

If he's in custody he was busted by the FBI. If he was shot while resisting arrest or while attempting to flee then it was local police in Kentucky. Which do you think will dispense the greater justice?

This isn't going to make you feel any better, but apparently, through the FBI's investigation in the US, the FBI learned of his activities. Which means that the US still fails to perform meaningful back ground checks of people from terrorist hot spots that want to enter the US.

This sounds like a false flag operation to me. The Justice Department wanted to prove that civil criminal investigations of terror ops is the way to go. So they greenlighted these guys immigration permits knowing they were bad guys and set them up to prove their case. Now the real bad news is that we have more jihadists sitting in US prisons to stir the pot.

Eric Holder probably bought them each a ticket. So desperate is he for a terrorism case that he can actually win in a civilian court.

Not at all out of the realm of possibility for this regime. It sounds like the jihadi version of Operation Gunwalker.
