Can we make Israel the 51st state, so any attack on Israel becomes an attack on our OWN sovereignty?

The Constitution guarantees republican government and defense against invasion to all the States of the Union. We couldn't extend such a guarantee with a straight face to the Izzies (it's a bit of a stretch even in the case of Hawaii), not knowing what sort of political will and defense capabilities we will have in 50, 75, 150 years.

Listen, if they're whining, that is a good sign, it means dissatisfaction and that may hopefully, translate to a vote against Obama. I too tried to tell all my Jewish friends to avoid the Obama-Trap but they we're all hell-bent on negating the Bush Effect with a knee-jerk vote for a stuffed shirt. This meant that on the one hand they were erasing the Bush Legacy while at the same time voting for an African-American so then they could brag that they were Politically Correct and most certainly, not RACISTS...goody two-shoes, look at me, I am not a racist! So what of they was no real substance to this stuffed shirt President, the key was to elect him anyway.
