This New Yorker and a Woman, wants a real man: Allen West. What is it with telegenic Ken and Barbies that are parading before us? I tell you the current line up besides Herman Cain and Allen West-(RUN WEST RUN!!!) is simply depressing me.

I will vote for NO MAN who dyes his hair!

NO MAN wears bling so the distraction is away from hair paint.

The problem is that conservatives now have Palin, Bachman, & Cain - Gingrich even has his die hard supporters among us. Libertarian conservatives have Paul and Johnson. This leaves all the moderate and RINO voters for Pawlenty, Romney and Huntsman. Huntsman is non-starter, nobody want Jon Huntsman. Jon Huntsman may not even vote for Jon Huntsman. Pawlenty is weak.He has been running as hard as anyone for months now and no one cares. Romney has a strong campaign, lots of people on the ground everywhere, and plenty of money. Unless conservatives united quickly, BEFORE the first primaries, it is Romney’s race to lose. My choice is Palin bit a lot of conservatives don’t like her now. Hopefully she can change that. Unlike the vocal majority of Freepers, I don’t think Romney is the anti-christ. He’d probably be a good president, and he can beat Obama. That said he is 4th or 5th on my list of the guys (and gals) running. I hate to see him get the nomination the same way McCain did with conservatives chasing too many favorites and the moderate vacuuming up all the rest of the party.

I wonder which version of old Flip Flop will show up. Will it be the fiscally moderate, socially liberal governor of Massachusetts? Or the born again social conservative who ran in 2008? Or the more recent fiscal conservative but social liberal?

romneycare has no chance and if he was able to look past his ego, he’d see it as well.

He needs to follow his socialist soul brother huckster and bow out before getting trounced again.

We’ve need a conservative in the White House in both word AND deed, not just whatever convenient word needed to sound like one.

NH maybe an interesting play this time as I don’t think any of the candidates have spent much time up there. And NH likes to have them there in small type settings so they can get up close and personal with them. I think McCain made over 50 trips to NH during the two years prior to the last GOP primary.

I don’t like romney.

At a campaign stop, he doesn’t even look you in the eyes when shaking your hand. That’s just wrong.

2008 GOP Iowa Debate - The Show of Hands Question

Q. Show of Hands - How many of you believe global climate change is a serious threat and caused by human activity?

Freeze frame the hands up. Before Fred Thompson saved his but, see where Romney's hand is. He shot it right up.

It's not just about Romneycare. This guy is no Conservative

That’s a week away, but I can announce today that I will not under any circumstances vote for Mitt Romney. There are a lot of conservatives I would support enthusiastically, starting with Palin, Bachmann, and DeMint. There are a lot of republicans I would support reluctantly, but I’d rather not list them. Mitt would cement the usurper’s programs in place with an implied GOP seal of approval. I’d rather wait until 2012 if necessary to get a real conservative in office than have Mitt go in there and merely slow down the progress toward socialism.
