I just found a Gregorian to Julian calendar program, and according to that, May 21, 2011 in the Julian calendar is June 3, 2011 in the Gregorian calendar. That's pretty close to the date mentioned in this posting.

However, since I spent all my money in anticipation of being raptured and not having to pay it back, I'm now clutching at any straw that suggests that TEOTWAWKI is coming real soon now. ;-)

I know it’s become the popular thing to make light of this stuff in this thread but the reality is nuclear war is going to soon break out in the middle east. Then the genuine, biblical rapture will take place, for god’s children aren’t destined for wrath.

Satan likes to use false prophets for many reasons. Other than the fact that these deceived individuals give true Christianity and its sincere followers a bad name, their failed predictions also give Non-believers and skeptics an excuse to dismiss the end-times and rapture event.

I believe this is something to not take lightly, and at this point in time the wisest thing we could be doing is, as Jesus admonished, “pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and to stand before the son of man.”

Supporters of the supreme leader are referring to Ahmadinejad's group as "The Deviant Movement." ...[which] has announced that within the upcoming weeks a monumental event will turn the tide to their advantage... certain sources close to the "Mahdi's Emergence Movement" have stated that... the announcement of the "covert emergence" of the Twelfth Imam (or Mahdi) in Medina, Saudi Arabia... a covert emergence will commence on the 14th of Khordaad (June 5) in Medina, setting the stage for the announcement of the actual emergence in the next few years.

P.S. -- my wild guess is, Ahmanutjob believes himself to be the Twelfth Imam; the actual "prophecy" about the Mahdi (in Saudi Arabia) is quite detailed, giving the exact tribe and some other details of ancestry, revealing only that the "prophecy" is of political origin.
