I don’t think a true Christian would commit suicide etc. I just think that there are emotionally unbalanced people who were vulnerable to the false prophesies of this guy. The false prophet destabilized the unstable and probably influenced his believers to make financial and life decisions they would not have made otherwise. I am not saying his victims bear no responsibility - but I am saying he bears more responsibility than I think he is willing to accept.

No, it proves Camping is a Nut and a scam artist. Those of us who believe the Church will be Raptured were not shaken by this. And we were not taken in by this either. We were to first to shout warnings about this guy. Actually the Catholic Church has been giving warning against this since before Camping, Darby and Schoffield were even born.
