Thanks much! It’s appropriate we congratulate him for staying with his fellow Marxists in Bezerkley.

So Hatch voted PRESENT??!!!! This puss RINO, who has voted to confirm countless Marxist activists in the past must be up for re-election next year.
To: Oldpuppymax
Yes, Hatch certainly is up for reelection and is fence walking, I’d sure like to see a conservative face him in the primary and win.

Senate Republicans staged the first successful filibuster of a judicial nominee since 2005 on Thursday That is only technically accurate, which is typical for politico. In reality, the democrats filibustered dozens of judicial nominees in 2006-2008, just not with a formal vote. IN 2006, they were putting holds on the nominees, a form of individual filibuster, and the republicans decided not to push the issue knowing the democrats would just filibuster.
In 2007, the democrats took over, and simply refused to schedule votes for nominees -- which is the same as a filibuster.

You're correct, I remember it plainly. The Democrats have abused the judicial nominee process by denying qualified and unbiased Republican nominees and pushing through unqualified and biased Dem nominees. Of course the Republicans have let them get away with it by being “nice.”

Hatch votes present? "'free enterprise,' 'private ownership of property,' and 'limited government'" are "code words for an ideological agenda hostile to environmental, workplace, and consumer protections." (Goodwin Liu writing on SCJ Nominee Roberts)
